  1. a sad woman trapped in a castle with a wicked stepmother/mother-in-law, who only wanted to be a ballerina all her life. now trapped in a loveless marriage with a mealy-mouthed man who thinks he is don juan and cheats with horse-faced women. she is praying for relief from pain.

    Julia
  2. So this doesn’t let you cheat. The word is princess and I haven’t a clue as to what to write. of course after the minute is up mymind will swirl with possibliities and then I can write it out. That’s the hard part and none of this has to do with princess except that I never wanted to be one.

    Teresa
  3. She brushed her long golden hair, looking through the large window. She dreamt of adventure, but knew that her father would never let her outside of the castle walls.

    Jasmin

Princesses live in a world that is far different from my own reality.

They can come and go as they like, yet they are constrained as I am by the workings of a socialite family..

    Princesses are political.

Princesses have the faerietale I will never have.

    But Princess are me.

  12. she came into the room and delivered the decree with all the grace of a woman of power and wile despite the fact that she wore a mask of red and yellow cotton and blue feathers which completely obscured her voice and message. She turned and left while everyone around her looked at each other and said, “Huh?” All the while a dancer spun through the room and touched each person with a tiny brush, dipping it into bee pollen after each

  15. That’s what my mom used to call me. And I hated it. I hated it when I was a kid and I hate it today as an adult. I’ve never thought of myself as a princess. There’s nothing princess-like about me. And the expectation to live up to whatever idea of “princess” she had in her mind is painful.

    Barb
  16. i always knew you were the master, the king even, of dirtbag men. but i don’t like you in the way of most helpless girls.
I thought i could try, be the princess, but oh no. you will always and forever me, the master, the king.

    Anne
  17. I hate princesses….coveted people who didn’t earn their place. I don’t want to be one ever…I prefer the life of a commoner. I wonder if they hate being princesses…not a lot of fun having life dictated for you…how to wave, etc. hmm. If I ever meet one one day maybe I’ll ask. But maybe they won’t be able to answer.

  18. Once upon a time there was a princess who lived in a castle, the castle was guarded by a dragon and she was in grave danger. One day a prince came to rescue that princess but failed, and died. Nobody could ever rescue her or save her from her doom, and soon in the end she died. Later it was found out that her mother ended up putting her in that castle guarded by the evil dragon because she felt she was prettier then her.

  21. i am a princess. no one thinks i am or sees me as one because if i told people i was a princess people would persecute me but i believe everyone is a princess deep down. everyone should be treated like a princess or a prince, because everyone is special in their own way.

  22. Dear god, why is this word printed over thousands upon thousands of shirts for little girls? Gender socialization is absolutely ridiculous. You can’t walk into a clothing section for young girls without being blinded by pastel colors and sayings such as ‘diva’ or ‘drama queen’. A company in the UK even tried marketing a stripper pole to 8 tear old girls. Listen, I know we all want our daughters to feel special, but do we convince our children that they are ALL special? Won’t this make them think they are better than other children?

    Matthew
  23. she stood there in a beautiful white dress, diamonds all around, with a frown on her face. “why so sad sweetie?” she didn’t know. she never knew. but obviously she wasn’t happy. people thought life was perfect. people were wrong.

  24. i know this girl named princess. everyone says she’s the hottest girl ever. thats stupid. i think she should be treated like a normal person. who cares if you have a royalty name?

    c. gladburg
  25. In America, we have the belief that you can grow up to be most anything. But not King, Queen, Prince, or Princess. That’s something you’d have to be born into, and we don’t have inherited royalty. What we have, however, is inherited money, and that pretty much leads to the same end.

    Scott
  26. She was a princess in every sense odf the word. Long flowing hair, beautiful, flowing gown. Everyone bestowed love on her. She was, mostly, a princess, becasue she knew she was loved. Hair hair was brushed daily and kept very shiny. Her skin was clean and glowing. My 5 year old daughter.

    Pam Canepa
  27. The princess concerns herself with the peas. The peas that grow in the garden beneath her castle home. Terraced ground, lonely ground for she is the only inhabitant at the moment. Her father is away on business in the town of Shelby, having saddled the horse yesterday morning and ridden away

    MIke
  28. Fairytales are read to little girls at night, about princesses and princes. Always the little girl – at one point or the other – wishes to be a princess. She wishes to be swept apon her feet, and carried away by a prince. Fairytales seldomly come true.

    Michelle
  29. She’s a princess
flowing blond hair and eyes of wild wonderment
if only she knew the pain and strife of the planet
she’d relinquish her crown and step down
    a princess no more

    Jason
  30. She thought of herself as a princess, even though she was no more than a rag doll, at best. Her tattered clothes and ratty hair gave her the look of a homeless child with no one to care for her. Yet, her smile was bright and cheered most, especially the men who saw through the tattered clothes to the body beneath. The men, she sighed, with knife in hand…

  38. Peach Princess, Bitch. That’s the go kart I’d be racing around your track. I don’t think I deserve the title of princess, because I work for what I want. I hate having other people wait on me, hand and foot. Things won are done; joy’s soul lies in the doing.

    hugarbol
  39. Princess Peach? I just played a rather extended game as her on the N64. I don’t think shes very cheap, though others think so. I have fun just playing as her. It’s not a girly thing to play as a girl. Each character is unique. Each person has a preference.

    Jason
  40. The princess was a spoiled brat. She refused to eat her mashed carrots so she dumped them on her servant’s feet. It was sad at the time, but her growth was really stunted, so in the end, it all worked out quite fairly.
