  1. Regal, entitled, magical, beauty, ethereal. Each girl has a bit of a wish to be a princess within. To coax, cuddle and enrich herself with jewels, gifts, love oneself.

    patricia
  2. A princess is a name, divine amongst cultures throughout the centuries. A royalty in the making, daughter of king and queen. Nowadays, princess is the term used my little girls who are obsessed with pink and flowery, poofy dresses.

  3. I feel like a princess right now because I am so loved and adored by my friends. Even though I’m only 26 and I’m getting ready to go through my first divorce. And, I don’t know how I am going to pay my bills because I don’t have enough money and my bastard ex left me holding the bag. I still feel like royalty because my friends are all kings and queens and they treat me like I belong in a crown as well. I love them.

  6. “Princess.” The voice whispered in my ear, torturing my sleeping thoughts. How I longed for everything to go away. For once in my life I was having a somewhat good dream and here was this person ruining it for me. So annoying.

“Princess. Wake up.” Now the voice added a hand to wake me. Shaking me back and forth. “Time for breakfast.”

  8. My princess in the castle was never a romantic one. She was tough and fiery, and her back was decorated with tattoos. prison tattoos, some whispered. It was true that she had always been unwilling to talk about aspects of her past, and her lack of discomfort when she was locked in her tower to await a prince was also somewhat suspicious. “Oh no,” she said. “I’m just fine.”

  10. There was a princess named leah. She was strong and kind but was alone in this world. She wanted someone to love her for who she really was, and not just the fact that she was a princess. She wanted a soul mate who would rule the kingdom with her.

  11. I am so not a princess. Never could be considered one. Being a princess would take a lot of work. It makes me tired just thinking about it, actually. I don’t like princesses either. They bore me. I love folks with soul, and princesses rarely have one. Know what I mean? Why is this thing changing colors? Oh, I get it, never mind.

  13. I am a princess! My prince loves me so much. He rescued me from a high tower.

I have long, blond hair. No, actually, I have long, brown hair, but blond is the princess color. Unless you’re the princess from that ogre movie. Anyway, talking about my hair, I must sound like a brainless twit. I’m not, though. I’m one of the rare smart princesses. Oh, now I sound like have an ego.

  14. Of course. She was far too good to toil in the real world along with us. The sun was hot and would ruin her perfectly bottled tan. The dirt was dry, hard, and would get underneath her shiny plastic nails. The work was boring, and she needed to constantly be entertained. To her, it didn’t matter if we were saving lives. She was the princess.

  15. Isn’t there a little bit princess in all of us? The feeling that some day something magical will happen and our lives will be changed forever. The girl will meet her prince and live happily ever after? The boy will marry a girl who takes care of his every need? Well, I don’t think there is anything wrong with hoping for that…

    How to apologize.

  23. The tower that held the key sat atop a giant hill, with winding steps that led down, down into the valley were dragons roamed. No one had visited the little room for years, guarded as it was by monsters and obstacles. No princess at there, waiting for rescue, so it seemed there was no need to go chasing down the dragons in order to reach a tower that held nothing.

    Nothing but a key.

If the people knew what that key was for, they might have changed their minds.

  24. the princess is downstairs, eating chicken nuggets in the shape of dinosaurs and wearing a pink lycra tutu and a big white bow in her hair.
    she is almost 6.
i always said i wouldnt have a child, then when i had a child i said i would never have a ‘bow-head’ child or one who wore shirts that said ‘princess’ or had placards abover her bed that said ‘the princess is sleeping’, or a backpack that said ‘princess’ or worse yet, who knew and emulated the actions and movements of disney princesses.
‘snow white was a PUSSY’, i tell her when she is four, ‘she needed men, was a total victim and didnt give herself a chance to grow a pair and help herself, she just continued as all princesses do in these stories to wait for a man to make their lives complete. DONT DO THAT, i tell her, PLEASE DON’T.
you can be my princess, but dont strvie to be a mans, be your own queen, your own ideal of a strong warrior.
hey, shit, you can be ZEENA, the warrior princess! man, i forgot all about HER!
    wonder if she’s on youtube!’

  25. Something I’m not. I’ve never felt that way – and I’d like to. Not in a pampered, precocious way, but I’d like to feel like I was the most amazing thing in someone’s life. For them to look at me like that. To be the one on a pedestal just for once. I’ve had it, briefly, in the past, but it was never real. It’s a part of my life I’d like to have.

  27. Am I a princess? Little girls are princesses, aren’t they? And have I met my prince charming? Am I married to him? Does he even exist? Sparkle and glitter and pink tutus and rainbows all surely exist in a perfect princess world, but in the “real” world those things can be hard to come by. Still, there is truth to fairy tales, there is hope in their wisdom.

    Christine Mason Miller

  30. The princess sat alone up in her tower, wondering when her prince would save her. She realized that this was becoming stupid, waiting all day and night, so she slowly climbed down, using the stones sticking out of the tower, and ran away leaving the evil witch and her horrible life behind. When she did happen to run into the prince, she stood there and said, “I don’t need you” and walked away to go on her own adventure.
