  6. Proud to be an American that is. And proud to stand up for what I believe is right. Over the last 20 years our Republican dominated government has run us into the gutter. It is time now for all Americans to stand together for what we know is right and that don’t mean RIGHT wing. We have been led and misled by lies and half truths into a war that should have never been. We have been transformed into a nation that abides torture, illegal kidnapping and surveillance. We have become the bully of the globe that attacks those that may threaten us but have never, ever posed a viable threat to our freedoms. The real threat to our liberty is the mindset that says the President can spie on or imprison anyone without question, without having proof, without being held accountable. That is not America!

  22. I am proud of who I am; proud of who I have been, and hopefully will be proud of the woman I become. Pride is supposed to be a sin, but without it, how do you get up each morning? How do stand up for yourself in a tight situation? How do you make even mundane choices, such as what to wear? Pride is not a sin if it is worn with a balance of humility. You must be proud of who you are to survive.
