  1. He was the leader of it all. It was his decission to go against every rule that they had created. And now he had to pay. With corpses and blood. With all those fallen comrades. But all he wanted was his idea to get through, for people to realize. It’s worthless.

  5. It was part of his philosophy that he should react with a flourish to anything new – and from that, he’d decided as he ricocheted out of the revolving doors and into the lobby this morning that he was going to start a revolution in the office. He smiled to himself as he nodded hello to Belinda on reception, imagining her restrained cough of indignance as he mentioned in passing the memos that he’d be asking her to drop into everyone’s mailbox. He stopped himself chuckling to himself as he bid good morning to Des, his ‘cell-mate’ as he’d referred to him in the ealry days of them sharing an office, a flash of nerves in his stomach as he followed him into the team meeting. It was time.
He barely gave time for Des to open the meeting, before he cleared his throat and leaned forward.
“Actually, Des, if I may just interject – I’ve been thinking about the way things have been working around here, and I’ve… decided that we’re going to need a few changes aroudn here.”
He paused, long enough to be sure he had everyone’s attention, seeing the hushed conversations and the secretary doodling as confirmation they weren’t quite ready for what was coming.
“To begin with”, he stated, his chest rising, “We’re going to be starting meetings from now on at ten o’clock. Not ten thirty.”
He looked at his hands for a moment, enjoying the moment. It had begun.

  38. Live radically. That’s what what all the greats tell us, and what we’re supposed to be inspired to do everyday of our lives.

But if all of the world lived radically, wouldn’t that make all those radical, crazy actions totally normal.

Therefore, since living radically is so hard for all of us, it is my belief that that’s why living radically is so impressive and desired… because it is so unique.
