  11. I remember that one time when we were driving in the dark. It wasn’t quite raining but the world had that electricity it finds hours before a thunderstorm. We opened the windows and stuck out heads out and played Regina Spektor on the radio, as loud as it could go.

  12. i love listening to the radio. but some of the music that is played these days is aweful. it is ruining the mind of children. seriously. how many swears can you hear on the radio now? and even if it is bleeped out or censored in some way, there are still plenty of inuendos to get the idea. the music on the radio now disgusts me more than i ever thought it would. im not really making any sense right now. thats ok. i know what i am saying, even if you dont. anyway. radio. radio. radio. radio. radio. radio.

  13. I create my own car radio. I despise hearing radio waves in super low quality day after day playing the same 75 songs or so on repeat until the mass has picked a new favourite 75 songs. I burn all my own music in super high quality and put them in my car and rotate them and that’s that.

  18. “All I hear is radio ga ga…” really, radio was one of the most favourite companions of my youth…that place, is these days, sadly being usurped by TV. But the charm of a good, solid talk show on radio is just too great!

  19. His hand’s are the part of him that most shows his age, the skin white and paper thin showing the blood barely pulsing through aging veins. Those hands spend all day adjusting dials on a radio that no longer works, adjusting music long past but still heard in his mind.

    Emma
  20. Grandma sits on the old rocking chair and turns up the old radio, so aged that she had to turn the dial for too long. She listens to an old song, her favourite. It reminds her of when she danced with grandpa. Seems like her memory never grows old.

    Annie
  21. radio transmissions go all over the world. Coming out of the air, through transponders into peoples ears and brains. Radio DJ’s are not so mobile. They travel in their own fleshy skin sacks. To the radio stations, where they talk. Mostly in annoying voices.

  35. The radio blared rock music, the bass beating a jungle rhythm as Jerry pushed his car 80, 90, 100 miles per hour. The wind whipping through his open windows was exhilarating, the joy ride worth every ounce of punishment.
