  1. She was so surprised to finally meet someone just like him. He was so glad to find the girl of his dreams. It was funny, honestly, the way they met. You generally wouldn’t picture a straight couple meeting at a gay rights rally, would you? But, alas, they did.
    He was there with his sister. She was there with a friend.
    He wore subversive outfits. She made controversial signs.
    They were perfect from the start.

  2. We pushed, we shoved, we kicked, we punched. Anything and everything, nothing was out of bounds for us. A mass ball of people, filling the streets till there was no room to move or breathe. The huddle masses, together for the slaughter.
    We knew we didn’t stand a chance.

  3. A rally is an event were people who have something to complain about gather to speak strongly against and for it. Sometimes it get really dramatic.

  4. you can cheer all you want but it rarely makes a difference in the end. this is a point a lot of cheer-leaders never learn, which makes their lives rather dismal doesn’t it? after years of playing sports they never seem to understand that we don’t actually need them, so why are they there?

  5. Rally, rally, rally. I think of pep rallies in high school… which I never attended or involuntarily attended because yeah, I was THAT girl in high school. Anything with pom poms and glitter made me cringe. Then I was actually friends with a cheerleader, and she was great till she because uber stereotypical, but that’s another post entirely.

  6. Rally the boys together! Were about to have a grand ol’ time. Don’t worry to much we’ll try to stay under control, but you know that always isn’t possible. Tonights about to get interesting!

  7. A group of people gathered together for a common purpose. A gathering intended to inspire or create enthusiasm for a specific cause. A rally could also be an exchange of play in a sport such as tennis or volleyball.

  8. Rally makes me think of a passionate group os people fighting for what they believe in. They gather a group of people, non-believers, believers, whoever is compassionate enough to take some time and support their cause.
    Rally = passion.

  11. i was at the car race, the rally. there were hundreds of people, all there to see my cousin. i felt honored, my cousin was racing and he was famous. HE WAS AT A RALLY?! it still hadn’t hit me. he was on television, he was famous. my cousin, my relative had money and there i was the poorest of the poor. it didn’t make sense. i couldn’t understand. i only was there cause of free tickets.

  13. The word rally could mean a a lot of different things. It could be a gathering, an assembly of people for a specific purpose. An example of a rally could be a high school pep rally, all the students getting together cheering for their peers.

  19. Rally… that’s an interesting one, oneword, I give you credit. Rally makes me think of tennis. Like, you know, rally back and forth and volleying the ball and such. Rally also makes me think of protests… yeah that’s pretty much all the word rally means to me today.

  30. I wish I could get everyone that I care about in my life to just really get excited about something. For everyone to just once rally their emotions to such a level that the vibrations are felt round the world. I just want everyone to wake up, to get off facebook, to turn off the tv and feel alive.

  33. a pep rally at a high school where all you can see are cheerleaders and football players but the real show is in the crowd with people like me and my crazy friends who spend too much having fun rather than watching the game, if we are even at the game to begin with. its strange to think that I was once a cheerleader but don’t care anymore.

  39. i went to my first pep rally. i was excited because it was my first year in cheerleading and the other girls were not liking me so i could show them i could be good for the team. …yeah not so much…. i had to be the flyer last minute and the girl giving me teh most trouble decided it would be funny to not catch me. i ended up breaking my spraining my wrists and ankle. i was also blamed for falling….
