  3. We were recycled and brought back to life. Our bodies were different, but our minds were still intact. How could they do this to us. And why the hell am I asking you it’s not as if you ever answer back – stupid fourth wall I can break you, but you can’t answer back.

  4. reduce reuse, it is as simple as that. Our world is changing everyone is trying to go green. It’s not working too well. The United States tends to ruin things the world is fixing. It is easy for everyone to claim to be part of the movement, yet when they are costs to doing it everyone seems to back away, we will pay more for it in the end people!

  5. Technically, I already wrote all about recycling because I found this website yesterday, but I suppose I can do it again. When we recycle, we’re not only helping other people, and our society, we’re helping ourselves. But maybe that’s the same thing. But if we’re helping ourselves, who will thank us?

  6. there’s power in a piece of writing, he thought late in the morning. he had just finished reading elie wiesel’s night. about the holocaust. about the burning of whole peoples. the day has started long ago and he wanted to know what else was in store now that he felt he had just died. or rather just survived death through the prose of eliezer. it was a sick and a sad feeling but also made him not want to waste the day. but maybe he should. maybe it didn’t matter because the world was so filled with evil what could it matter. what was this world worth. he was glad he did not believe in god. he was glad he did not believe in men. ego can be useful sometimes. belief in the self stronger, controllable.

  7. Ecology is a top issue of the century. Recycling and reusing empty containers saves trees and environment. stop waste and reuse. Recycle your plastics, glass and tin.

    Shoshana
  8. I dismantle the plastic top from my paper cups, throw the cup in the compost bin, slide the top into the recycle bin, and hesitate with the straw. It is plastic, isn’t it?

  9. Wonder what my soul will recycle into; I mean as much as a soul can exist. Scribbles on scraps of paper, a photograph here or there, maybe a journal or a book. A blog perhaps. Surely if this strange soul strips out of its mortal coil and kicks it to the wasteside, then it must have somewhere to return (living as a memory in someone else’s mind) or disintegrating into some vast unknowable ether, it’s molecules, bits of atoms, forever impossible to find. Possibly never to be reunited. I think I’m ok with the former and the latter if one or both are options. One might even say they make the case for improving life for the better; because life should get a little brighter and brighter each day you and your soul are allowed to remain together. If this is reality, then I feel a lingering sense of sorry for those who are consumed by the searing fires of hate. What a pity, what a waste, what a preventable way to meet your fate.

  10. Used. So Precious it was to begin. Nay, and now look where we are! Needing it once more. Again.

  11. Recycling has become very popular as we have seen that more and more stuff is piling up on our planet. Upcycling is a word similar to recycling in that it reuses stuff into a better new product.

  12. Recycle

I was just thinking about this. Actually, as the page loaded, I was thinking about dropping off a bunch of stuff at a thrift store, which is kind of the same thing.

I’m usually good about recycling. There have been times when I’ve been bad about it. Usually those are times when life is immensely stressful and in the grand scheme of things, it’s more logical to forego recycling in exchange for oh, I dunno… leaving immediately and saving a life! (It happens!)

  14. It was worth wondering about whether you could recycle a heart. He always thought about it as his eyes clouded over with tears or when something was strangling him with an iron fist around his heart… but then as he cried, he realized that a broken heart is just a broken, un-recyclable heart.

  15. I was suppose to recycle, but i didn’t…I thought about all the plastic bottles that would someday count up to thousands simply because i did not put the empty water bottles in the recycling bin. I really ought to recycle…something small like that makes a big difference

    Edt
  16. i believe in the earth. i give a shit. i am not one of those people who poops where he lives. i don’t like those people. the reason why i like them, and am one of them, is because the earth and i are kind of besties. we hope to live together for many years and then, after we are living together, the earth and i are going to have earth babies. it’s going to be killer, as in a snake eating a mole…now i’m waiting for time to run out. then i’m going to use elie’s weird name to submit. it will also be killer, like snakes (still) eating moles.

    Elie
  17. In their eyes, you’re just one more hand-me-down. You’re just there for them to use & then let someone else recycle you. Is that all we really are? Or do we have some kind of purpose, meaning… Beauty deep inside. No one searches for that beauty anymore.

  21. Recycling is good if you like that sort of thing. I often get to the dump and decide that i can’t be arsed with it. Afterall, how much difference can it actually make? I mean, hippies always bang on about it but you never know do you. I think its bullshit

  23. From under the wet floor mats
I can feel the heat off the tar
    The tape deck chokes, swallows
    And carries on

    Comin home, baby
    Comin home

And I’m thinking about the time
We took a cold bottle of wine
    To the beach
    Late at night
    A weeknight, late summer
    The still air
And the way your hair falls
    When you laugh
    And your eyes half close
    We tried
    Handstands in the sand
    Then lay
    In the soft cradle
    Sharing our bottle
With the stars, the salt, the whitewash
    I’m an explorer you said
    You have been discovered
