    Ironically, I do remember the 5th of november, not for fireworks though, as this is the date I passed my driving test :) Happy days!

    The word does indeed make me think back further than two years ago. I immediately thought of primary school where we sang “Remember, all that jesus did for us… we remember that our hearts are filled with love” What an amazing lyric to help brainwash young naive Catholic children! I am a believer, so haters keep hating!

I remember when I was young and grandma was a bird in a box and a bird on a wire and a bird on the grasses and I was laying among them and thinking about her velvet red bathroom with the red soaps that were clear, clear as rose colored glasses and she was soft and warm and so was the day. I remember the sky so blue and the grass so soft and the wind on my skin like a hand.

  11. I remember this one day when I went to go to the gas station. It was a beautiful blue day. I remember it was Saturday and it was about 2 or so. I went into the gas station and I remember walking cheerfully into the back to grab a blue Powerade Zero from the cooler, it was delicious.

  25. I tend to forget my dreams almost every night. For whatever reason, I just can’t remember. Once, I saw my boyfriend’s roommate’s “dream journal” where he records his dreams as soon as he wakes up. I decided I would make my own dream journal, but i couldn’t remember to write down my dreams.

  26. remember the time in the 5th grade where i killed the squirrel and brought it to class for show and tell? then my teacher sent me to the psych ward. it was a blast. i still have the straight jacket and i got it autographed by lady gaga at her concert this past march. i truly am a little monster. sometimes i dress up like her and sleep in her leotard. my imagination had let loose a little bit.

Petty things got in the way of friendships. What you wore mattered. Fifth grade I wore gym shorts, t-shirts, and crocs. No one gave a shit. Now thats the most important thing.

  34. Look back to when you were a kid. Disneyland was an endless environment of new adventures. A cardboard box was ample shelter. I miss the days where getting lost in endless amusement was so easy and readily available.

  37. remember when we went to the new york state fair together? it was your birthday and we went on all the rides five times a piece. i never loved anyone the way i loved you that day. i just wanted to run through the crowds of people and carnival rides holding your hand like that forever. i still do sometimes. only sometimes though. and then i fell asleep on your lap on the car ride home and i could feel your slow breathing as you stroked my hair. it’s hard to imagine that we’ll never get that feeling back. but it’s gone as sure as i breathe.
