  3. Memory is a fascinating thing. The things it chooses to remember, the things it doesn’t. I don’t remember times when I was young. People tell me all these things we used to do together and I feel bad because I can’t remember those times. Sometimes I don’t even remember the people I spent them with. But the things I do remember are amazing. They make me laugh and smile.

  10. There are times that I don’t want to remember… but then I know that if I forgot about them, I wouldn’t be who I am. If I forgot the hurting, I wouldn’t be able to relish in the love. If I forgot about being about from you all these years, I couldn’t be able to love you as much as I do now. I will always remember you. I will always love you. This I know

  14. I remember little and perhaps too much. Why does it seem that the flights of fansy, the perfect moments in life, those times that you vow to remember always are the first to go. I want to remember and I want to forget.

  15. I remember nothing about what I should. Sure I have pictures, but they never tell the whole story. A thousand words is nothing, and it can’t tell you about a smell or a sound, or the sight just out of the corner of your eye. It won’t tell you why you were laughing or crying or screaming. It won’t tell you any of a thousand little things. I’d need ten thousand words.

  39. It’s harder to remember as you get older but my first memory was an enormous swing hanging from an even bigger tree. It wwas so big that I used to sit on it with my friend Judy and there was more space if someone else had come to join us. I saw that swing a few years agoi and am ashamed to say that my fat arse would not go on it at all. Memory makes everything larger – even bottoms it seems.
