  3. What do we reveal to the world? Our real self, or the face we allow the world to see. Do we censor what we say, worried that some might judge us? Do we temper our behaviour in some instances if we want people to believe we are a “certain” kind of person? All very interesting.

  4. showo me the way to see things without being analytical, show me how i saw the world as a child, because i dont want to lose myself in a lie that keeps teh world from being true to itself, because i want to live and let live, be and be free, not be confined by the rules i see in front of me but instead be allowed to flow among limitless

  5. He lifted his shirt and tossed it to the ground, and she gaped at the scars revealed. They criss-crossed his chest in a network of memories, white and shining in the moonlight. He saw her horrified expression and ‘hmped’ in contempt, then dove into the lake.

  9. Today we take a look at another paranormal group called “Project reveal”. It is hosted on moonfruit, which I though quite apt considering its content. My Great Uncle “Terry” once had his own “project reveal”, however that actually involved wearing a dirty overcoat and an insinuating “leer”, while startling pensioners in the lingerie section of British Home Stores, while buying their industrial strength “control support briefs” and “bellywarmers”. He was later bound over the keep the peace, and given a conditional discharge. So good news for the pensioners, but not the readers of this website.

The team comprises of four people, namely:

Lee Steer, Investigator, and “practising spiritualist communicator” (whatever that is).

Phillip Williams, Investigator, and “practising spiritualist communicator”.

Amie Hoyle, Investigator, and “practising spiritualist communicator”. (seeing a trend here?)

Simon, sceptic, “scientfic” and “researcher in History”? (“absolute sceptic” apparantly, uses “scientific study” to research and answer questions.)

lee describes himself as a “spiritual medium” with an interest in pagans. I know Jon Donnis can relate to at least half his interests. So I dived straight in, theres almost nothing I like better than a paranormal site Ive never heard of. It may just contain some amazing valuable insight into the paranormal that I had not previously considered. It is a veritable “pandoras box” of possibilities. Eagerly I clicked through the pages, scanning for the “holy grail”, the one idea or thought that could change my world view forever. After five minutes however, I was searching frantically for the “eye bleach”. Unfortunately I forgot to restock after viewing Charlie Sibleys infamous youtube videos.

Passing the obligatory Cafepress “webshoppery” page, I headed right for the gallery page. Once seen, this can never be “unseen”, so be warned. It contains an assortment of “smokelike” images, and we are presented with the very sincere disclaimer:

    Quote:

This page shows our work over the time that we have been running project-reveal.We tend to do investigation only when the weather is right and not foggy.

The pictures we have are very strange, and wired, hard to explain, we project-reveal believe that they are actually spirit pictures.

I couldnt see any “wires”, but what I did see was an enviable collection of “mists”, “steams”, “breath” and quite possibly “cigarette smoke”. I also recommend the section titled “User sent in photos” (me fail english? Umpossible!).”Not much of interest here Im afraid”, I mumbled disapointedly, what other information can I possibly glean from this treasure chest of misrepresentation? Rapidly losing hope, I turned to the mrs and in my best facsimile of a suitably heroic impression, I declared I was “going in deeper”, she gave me “the look” and informed me she would put the kettle on.

A quick look in the Guestbook section reveals at least some of this websites clientele are not so easilly swayed, by the “evidences” collected by this group. Some interesting comments from their Guestbook, all spelling and grammar remain intact and unadulterated (which is a shame really) :

    Quote:

    hi all,

i would like to say congratulations with building a great site and a lot of information and the evps are good keep up the good work all.

there is no need to be afraid of ghosts because ghosts used to be human and they sort of ghosts are called lost souls because lost souls don`t realize that they have died and just need our help to help ghosts / lost souls to the other side into the light then after that who knows what happens to lost souls / ghosts reincarnation is a possablity,

take care all and all the best,

    kind regards,

    stuart.

    Quote:

    Hi
    thanks for your comments all,

Thats an intresting thing, about lost souls, i do beleave you are right, some people will need help on getting to the light,
Thats if you beleave there is a light ;)

but anyway thanks for all your comments keep them comming.

    Thanks from
    Project-reveal team.

just been looking through the photos and ive got to say, before i explode, all the photos can be recreated by 1-breath 2-fag smoke i made a fantastic one myself, and if you can post or email me one that cannot be explained in this manner i would be impressed.

Finally, a lone spark of reason in the dark abyss of idiocy. That is “shazzy” from http://www.sypr.co.uk/ by the way. An investigator with experience at noticing the obvious, and discounting it as a false positive.

E.V.P. Links section wasnt much better, but Ill briefly cover that here:

They also have a selection, of quite possibly the worst E.V.P.’s I have ever had the misfortune to hear. There is so much noise pollution on these recordings, it would be difficult to hear anything that made sense to the listener. I listened to them all, and on one particular recording there is a wind whistling noise. One might assume that it was caused by, oh I dont know, lets say “wind”. However the teams “experts” say:

    Quote:

grave stone record, This is a strange and unusual clip, we left our recorder on a grave stone, and walked away, but we seem to get some strange mumbling, at the time there was no wind, if there was the wind it was blocked by the trees.

It is a well established “scientific fact” that trees block air currents apparantly. This is why governments deploy a highly qualified crack team of “commando spruce” during the event of a chemical/biological attack. Your Tax dollars at work ladies and gentlemen. Be sure to write a thank you email to Gorden brown and Charlie Dimmock, his minister for Worldwide Horticultural Anti Terror, otherwise known as (W.H.A.T.?)

There is a section on Ghost Hunting Tips too, not as good as my version (I think?) Which can be found here:

    http://badpsychics.com/badghosts/modules/news/article.php?storyid=10

They refer to this section as “AtoZ Ghosts Tips”, A for “Apparition” and Z for “ZOMG!!! an appararition”, one would assume. Grammatically eloquant as usual they pronounce:

    Quote:

Ghost Hunting tips – to help you get upto date on what ghost hunting is about these days.

It contains a plethora of “useful” informational “gems” to help the budding “Ghost Hunter”, like:

    Quote:

Amulet – A piece of jewelry believed to have special powers to ward off evil.

Yet Heather Mills McCartney’s wedding ring had little to no effect?

    Quote:

Charms – Jewelry worn by ghost hunters because of the belief in its special powers to repel evil.

Lucky charms the cereal have the exact same effect, “They

  19. reveling is to tell you what something is about. It opens the door to what is hidden or unknown. Many people reveal secrets about themselves when they feel comfortable with another person, but not before that point. I am able to reveal a lot about myself to people I know, trust and love, but still not a lot.

    Anthony
  20. I revealed a huge secret to my friend the other day. She didn’t seem phased or anything at all. She accepted what I said. In the back of my mind, I couldn’t help but wonder if she was just putting on a front. Was she going to go tell everybody later? I have a hard time trusting people.

  23. A scary propostion indeed, to reveal anything can be terifying. Imagine if you were a tomatoe but all your friends are spuds and believe ou to be one aswell. What would they say if you had to reveal that your inners were actually red and not a paste coloured white. What if they knew you weren’t only not a spud but you were barley considered a vegetable like them. How would they react, what would they say, would they shun you or embrase you as a friend unchanged in thier opinion of you.

    Sarah

  27. piece by piece we reveal ourselves to each other, still learning after almost three and a half years. i’ve never felt this close to another person and sometimes i’m scared it’s all a dream, that i’ll wake up and it’ll be gone, all gone.
