  8. She walked into the room. It was a suite. The first time she was in one. It had everything a small apartment could have. “Who stays here?” she thought to herself. She spotted the plate of fruit from her position at the door. She knew this might be the first and last time she’d be in this position, standing in the doorway of a thousand dollar a night hotel room, with nothing but time on her hand.

  9. The shimmering white cat shook her hair as she walked down the luxurious red carpet. She shivered with joy as she pranced her way towards the plate of filet fish with sparks of leafy greens. As she arrived at her destination, she curled herself up next to the plate and licked and licked until all that was left was the shiny platinum. Purr. These are the mornings of the shimmering white cat.

  12. Luxury. The one thing I wished for in life was too far out of my reach. I wanted a luxurious car and luxurious food. I wanted a luxurious family. Maybe if I wasn’t so concerned with materialistic things, I would have realized that even the people who live these luxurious lives aren’t as happy as I am

  15. I have no idea what to write about this word. I think of things that people don’t need, but they want. I think of how people who aren’t as fortunate as I probably look at me and think that my entire life is luxurious, and filled with happiness, even if it just seems to be average in my opinion. Luxurious is different for everyone. It depends on their natural standard of living. In my opinion, buying a swimming pool would be luxurious, or perhaps some diamond earings, whereas Bill Gates might think that buying 1 billion mansions is almost luxurious. It isn’t the same for everyone.

    Stephanie Lanciani
  16. Luxe is something that only few can afford to have. In fact, it is quite paradoxal how some people are hungry and sick while others are sitting on a chair doing nothing, not giving a damn about the world around them. Kind of like myself in this moment, I should be out there helping the world but instead, I am writting this in front of my computer.

They’re riding in a cab, getting a “reflective nightlife” view of the city. Might as well have been driving in a limo coated in smooth black leather.

  20. I think luxury is overrated. It is only defined in a subjective way. What does this mean? It’s a fake idea. It means comfort above your expectation I think. I don’t mind having luxurious stuff, just wont live trying to get it. Do you think that people who don’t have food even know this word exists? It is a pretty sounding work, though. Not sure the origins. Sometimes, something as simple as a nap is what I call luxurious. Do you want to go out for breakfast? That could be considered luxurious. Hmmm. Now that I babbled in a self rightous way about the idea, concept, word, I think I WILL go out to breakfast. Is that bad?
