  1. i’d like to runaway from here. finally get back home to escape the loneliness. It’ll be great to spend some time forgetting that i’m not wanted here – I want to run into someone’s arms, find myself feeling wanted and loved. I’d like to run as far and as fast as I can to the place where I’m loved.

  2. i have always wanted to runaway somewhere amazing, but could never bring myself to get further than the end of my road, i always came back home after sulking for an hour or two. One day i’ll make it past the shops! then the world will be mine!

  4. runway like at an airport. taking off. do over places besides airports have runways. i guess techniancally track meets have them for long jump and pole vault. a train station doesn’t . cars dont. i guess planes and humans are the only things that need runways.

  5. bright lights flashing. you can hardly see but you can feel the heat of the lights. the eyes watching every inch of your body. it is exhilarating. you can’t help but smile at the end of the runway when you see the nods and smiles that your energy produce.

It’s a wonderful form of escapism, leaving behind the life you know, exploring and learning something new, somewhere new. It could be anywhere in the world you would like, the farthest corners, or the near surroundings of the world.

  33. There is nothing probably as exciting as being a pilot and racing your plane on a runway. It’s a stage where your entire life might just flash in front of your eyes. You are the plane, the road is your routine life, and then you take off, with a great leap.

  39. The plane taxied down the runway and came to a stop, flames shooting from it’s wings and tail and belly scraping and whining along the concrete and pavement. Immediately the emergency vehicles and personnel rushed in, firemen dousing the flames with their high-pressured hoses, and EMTs and policemen preparing for the injured to emerge. It seemed to take forever for the doors to begin opening and the yellow safety slides to inflate, although it was only about 30 seconds.
