I wish that I was on the east coast right now. I would be alright with the blistering cold if I could be on a real beach, with waves and rocks and animals and people who are real people and not just form fitting clones. I would love to go on a boat, with breeze and drinks and conversation that was too hard for me and required me to struggle to keep up with it. This idealistic faux-European setting, with laughter and age and history and life. And lobster.

Billowy, blowzy, blundering around in the wind, an incompetent submarine runs aground near Skye. What an embarrassment for the UK Navy.
I already wrote something on this word earlier; so I’ll take a different approach to the whole thing now. I am actually attending a University named Full Sail for Game Development, so I think it’s kind of funny that this would be the word I am given… It’s been going pretty interestingly so far, hopefully it all works out.
For some reason people have this obsession with sailing around the world when they reach a certain age. Am I right? Isn’t it almost common place in movies today that an elderly couple’s last dream is to get a sailboat and make a trip around the oceans… As if that’s even realistic? The amount of work (physical grueling labor) and danger that goes into a trip like that on a simple sailboat would be preposterous…

Sailing is cool. It reminds me of my grandfather. I’ve never been sailing. I almost went when I was in California with Holly, but it was too cold, so we decided not too. I loved that trip. Holly’s a really special person. Boats are cool too.

i sailed in the wind with a bird on my shoulder and i felt the breeze and the freedom and the adrenaline. everything was flowing like the waves through the ocean, pulled by the force of the moon, just as i was pulled by the force of life.

Since I was no taller than the tallest blade of grass I had always longed to sail, and for my fifth birthday my father had built me a boat. It was a sturdy thing made of pine and its resin and it floated well… until the wind blew it upon the rocks.
the sail to the east was the most exciting journey I’ve ever experience. the company of friends were anxious and excited being part of this sail.

my heart sails as he gives me a look. “i can’t tell you what we are passing notes about. its secret” secret about me? about him? us together? possibly? but no- secret about him, him and another girl. secret about something i wish would stay a secret. And my heart is sailing no longer.

It was a cool day and the wind was blowing – and, I thought to myself, today would be a good day to get out and put up the sail. and go. just go… Spend some time to myself – and in my thoughts… so, with that in mind, I gathered my coat, and set forth on the day’s adventure…

He had always loved sailing; he remembered that now, as he sat in the bow of the ship, eyes closed against the salty wind that tugged teasingly at his hair and threatened to lure him below, into those beautiful waves to be lost to the foam. Sailing had been his salvation as a child, and he knew it would be his death one day soon.
He knew in his heart that he would not regret that day, when it came.

I thought that one day I wanted to go sailing. The world seemed so open out there. The water was true blue. I sail to feel open.

I’ll never get through anything if I keep deleting my posts with the word sail in them. This is try number, what? Four? It’s just what I do in life. Put off whatever I can’t do and pile on everything easy to look more impressive.
Life is an ocean, so keep sailing, keep sailing. Do not fail to keep smiling while sailing. Have no hard feeling while sailing.

with shoes made out of white leather, they walked very briskly towards the boat. today was going to be a good day – full of privilege and laughter. they were going to the money river to slurp with friends. how wonderful for them!

I’m convinced that I am my own worst enemy. I think too much. I am the only one limiting myself. Things are not as hard as they are. It’s all in my head.

I love to sail. the feel of the wind in my hair as the ship jumps through the waves is one that cannot be equaled. It was on my last sailing trip that i decided that this was how i wanted to spend the rest of my life.

The sky couldn’t have been bluer, the air, crisper. It was a beautiful thing. As the small sailboat set off across the salty waves, we knew that the day would be a great one. I watched, squinting at the bright sunlight, as the seagulls flew through the air, calling out to us.

The sail caught the wind at the same time it swept through her hair. As she looked up, the boat turned into the wind and began to move towards the horizon.

Two years ago i took up sailing, I though it would become a larger part of my life. I thought I would become this nautical bearded man sailing across the world. But I continue to live my life the same way. Just with a rare certification.

“Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!” A young child sang as he jumped onto his bed. “First mate Teddy! Man the sails! We’re off on an adventure!”
(continued from Siren) I see him. The shooter. He’s already packing up his rifle; He thinks he’s won. He might have won against that man, but not me. He hoists a sail, preparing to leave. He sees me. Everything starts to go in slow motion. I run. He unties the boat and pushes, yelling for his friends to kill me. I jump…
Our sails caught solar winds and inflated like a breath in the proud breast of our captain; our journey had begun.

to sail across the ocean would be a wonderous experience. its most of the world. all the beauty i see around me and yet its not even the majority. im living life in the minority, in the smallness of this grounded earth.

I like to sail. Sail is similar to seal. A seal is noisy. Noise is full of joys =) Joy is in Texas. Texas is hot. Hot is my middle name ;) Names are used for everyone. Everyone isn’t a person. People are humans. Humans like boats. Boats are on water. Water means Sail!!!
Sail away, sail away. If you know how sail. Because it’s actually a craft and an art. You can’t just get onboard and sail away when you fancy it. When you want to get some horizon. When you want to become free, when you want to escape stuff. And do you think it’s gonna be completely troubleless wherever it is you’re heading? I don’t think so.

It’s not even light out, but we’ve already set sail on our boat made of intentions. The wind is blistering cold and it sings to us of places that have been abandoned by the sun, where the water lies still and acid. And yet we hope, though we have only just set sail.
A warm summer day, a beach, a brisk wind.
It’s a perfect day for sailing!

I set sail on the empty ocean, my mind sitting at a blank. I wished I could stay here, I wish I could love her, but I couldn’t. I had to take this boat, and I had to leave alone. And so I set sail, and I won’t be looking back. Becaues that ruins the purpose of setting sail. Of setting sail and leaving her alone. I will set sail.

It is fun to sail in a boat on the ocean. I have never done it before, but I have always wanted to. Sail boats are very graceful, it seems, unlike those ugly barges that tear up the seas. I think that everyone should be able to try parasailing. It seems like a lot of fun. I have not done that either, but have always wanted to. I think it is magical the way the wind moves the sail in whichever direction it choses. Don’t you? There is nothing more romantic than a date on a sail boat at twilight. They are so peaceful and serene. Sails can come in many different colors and a variety of materials. We have a miniature sail boat at our house that is from a store at the beach.

“lets sail away,” she says one day, chewing the end of the pencil. her eyes are elsewhere, reflective of the weather outside of the window.
the snow is muddied and dirty as it leads up to the doorstep. she sighs.
