  1. Last saturday I went to the market with my family. It was the first time I had seen them in months as I had been away at university. When we got there, all the hustle and bustle of the saturday morning shop overwhelmed me, it really opened my eyes. It was beautiful.

  3. Bored. Tonight. I wish I was with some of my other friends that I miss. It’s the night before church. Ironically that is the day I get drunk with friends lol. The day after Friday. Which reminds me of Rebecca Black. I need to be more productive with my weekends.

  4. saturday has always been a little annoying….where i come from it’s the last day of the weekend…i had had so much fun thursday and frieday and the moment i wake up i feel the burdens of everything i left undone…procrastination? maybe. but i had a right to enjoy my weekend!! i always had a math class at 9 am on saturdays so i couldn’t sleep in and when i came back i felt like i had to quickly do my homework and everything else i have to do. Saturdays have always been a little unpleasant until i moved to san diego…now saturdays are when i wake up late and realize my resposibilities could wait till tomorrow…and that i could go out and enjoy a sunny day with my friends on the beach!

  6. “Saturday, Saturday” and we just sing it like that. Everyday, but mostly on Saturday, we’d all be singing, “Saturday, Saturday.”
It’s funny how we celebrate it more than Sunday. It’s not right, I know, but it’s true. Although now that it’s summer everyday is practically the same. No use singing about it anymore.

  7. Saturday started like any other Saturday, with the exception that the tire was flat. Not wanting to be late, I called Tom. Unfortunately, he was out at the lake and uninterested in playing taxi.

  8. I rushed out of the pottery store. Confused, even a little dazed, I start to migrate with the crowd, allowing them to lead me into the direction of the next shop. Grocers and food carts pass me by, screaming at customers to buy. I pass them without a second thought.

  9. Oh man. It’s Saturday again. Every time I turn around it’s Saturday again. I like Saturday, don’t get me wrong. It’s just that is comes to often. It used to take a whole week, and now it’s like every other day.

  11. tomorrow should be better but it wont be. any plans i make will seem selfish to anyone else but me. i always end up hurting people when they just dont understand how much i care about them in all actuality. im just a little different than they are. it doesnt mean im an asshole. please be good tomorrow.

  13. In thirty minutes its going to be Saturday. I must say its July 4th weekend so many people are on a early vacation even though July 4th isnt until Wednesday.

  14. lovely lonely saturdays spent wandering the streets, imploring faces for stories and inhaling last night’s cigarette smoke.

  15. the day to do what ever you want nothing can stop you but you. go out with your friends get drunk have a party. if your the indoor type then just clean and be with your pets and or family dont believe in what you cant do and believe in what you can do.

  16. Saturday was supposed to be a good day, but in comparison to friday, saturday was nothing. Being there with him, smelling the sent of freshly made hot dogs and peanuts. Baseball games can be boring, but when she was with him, they were the best things on the planet. Watching their team win wasn’t even the best part. When the game was over they got up out of their seats and were escorted onto the field to watch the fire works. She felt them pop and explode inside her chest. What made the so much better then she could have ever imagined was that he was with her; and nothing else seemed to matter.

  17. Saturday night, slaving over a poem I can’t finish or start, but can find a damn good middle. It’s a lot like having a badass filling for an oreo but no fucking cookie! Who would want a giant tub of Oreo filling and a glass of milk at night when they can’t sleep!? No one, that’s who! I have a fantastic way of writing beautiful stanzas but no poem to put them in.

  18. it was raining when I got up. the candle on my nighstand was burned out by now but my computer was still buzzing, playing sinatra. I decided to shed the rest of my clothes and daydream in for a while

  19. no homework. no school. a whole life. partying and drinking and sneaking out? for losers. Staying at home and watching netflix with the family is the real way to live life! I almost snuck out last week with a guy. Too bad the guy has a girlfriend… awkward much?

  20. It’s like having too much to do and not nearly enough time — all the Saturday’s in the world and you still get to Monday. Hot, happy, tired, dishes. Sme how I thought it was earlier, not quite so late. Is the grocery store already closed?

  22. Saturday. It seems like another weekend. It’s the first day of the weekend, I think. Technically. I used to wake up Saturday mornings just to watch cartoons. Now, I wake up super late. It’s sad, now that I think about it. Partly how the future generations won’t have the awesome stuff we did back then. I think I’ll paint today.

  23. Saturday is one of my favorite days of the week. It is the start of the weekend, and the first day to relax. Unfortunately I have work this saturday so i will not get to enjoy it, where as normally when I am enjoying a saturday, i am having sex with my girlfriend Michele. I love her so much and enjoy being inside her tight body. But work prevents me from enjoying that this weekend. Lol.

  24. the day before sunday. relaxation… for most.

  25. Saturday, the day that people like to party. To live it up. Me, I’m sitting here. Alone. Wanting to talk to the one I love but yet I’m so far away it hurts. I just want to spend a Saturday under the sun. With the one I love. Please?

  26. Saturday. It’s just another day to me. To most people it’s the weekend and that means happiness. But not to me, it makes me think of the Saturdays I’m going to spend alone as the one I love is going to college. Do I break it off, or go the distance? This is going to kill me in the end..

  27. Tomorrow. The lazy day. The fun day. The whatever-you-want-it-to-be day. I don’t know what else to say. :(

  28. i woke up on a saturday morning. blue skies, birds chirping, a lovely cup of tea waiting atop my pile of books next to my bed. I knew I could consider myself lucky, as I sipped the tea, savoring every taste of it. Louis was so good to me. He always knew how to put me in a good mood right from the rise of the sun. His smile as he came into my room, watching me drink the beverage was the best part of all the. Louis was perfect for me.

  29. For some reason, when I hear Saturday, I somehow picture a sunrise, a window open with this amazing summer breeze and palm trees rustling and a really white duvet billowing all around me making me feel like I’ve literally been sleeping on a cloud all night. I picture warmth, not only from the sun, but from the person laying next to me. Hair blended into my hands. I picture half a face buried into the pillow right next to me, stirring awake and eyes opening… almost sparking with life or just excitement to see me and then dulling to this glow, a glow that you can’t look away from, a glow that maybe seems to come from the little flecks of gold you see swimming in this mix of emerald green and this blue that reminds you of antique fine china. I picture being able to just lay right next to someone and just look… to examine the little crinkle in their nose when they laugh or how they lick their lips before they talk or how you suddenly find freckles that remind you of star constellations that weren’t there before because you’ve never been that close before to see, and suddenly feeling special, because chances are (or at least hopefully) not very many people get to lie down next to someone beautiful, breathe them in, and explore the little details you only have to be as close as you are now to unveil. I picture tea. I picture baking. I picture reading a book out loud to the someone and having them not pay attention because they’re so enthralled in the way your lips move when you talk or the way you look when you tuck your hair behind your ear. I picture bubbling into unexplainable laughter because you’re just… happy.

  31. saturdays are pretty cool. i like them because its a day where i can do anything & nobody really cares. i usually hang out with friends. i also like that you dont get that “its-monday-tomorrow” feeling that you get on sunday. saturday is just anything you want. tomorrow is actually a party so woo hoo!

    Caroline
  32. Saturday is a fun day sometimes. I get to sleep and eat and watch tv and sometimes hang out with friends, but only at night. I really like Saturday, but it goes too quickly. And there’s good movies on Saturday. And good tv. I wish everyday was Saturday, but if that were true, Saturday wouldn’t exist.

    Emma
  33. So it’s officially Saturday. I wish it was a good day. But I started drinking again….and now my mind is cluttered with moods. When I wake up thought it’s gonna be a GOOD DAY. Even though I don’t have school…it’s the weekend and I have to love it.

  35. tomorrow is saturday, the day my honey comes home from cali, don’t know how i feel about it. i know on one hand i’m happy to see him on the other i hope his going away doesn’t mean that we wont do the talking that needs to be done. i want to miss him more.

  36. When I look at the day of saturn I think of the moon and how it shines so big and that i’ll never quite be able to reach it because the day is never the night and the day is when people expect things to happen. It’s the scary unexpected things that creep up on you in the night that change things. I would rather be alone to ponder at the moon and decide who I want to be.

  37. Saturday wasn’t like the other days. There were… things that slipped out of the shadows on Saturdays. Sunday pushed them back, but on Saturday, the streets belonged to the creatures from Below.

  38. today is saturday, just your average saturday. the birds are chirping and the sun is shining. i guess you could call it a nice saturday, an amazing saturday. a great saturday. a simple saturday. today is just saturday

  39. The ball thuds against the ground and I groan. “Goddammit,” I mutter as the members of the other team cheer and laugh.

    “Six-nine,” Marco says. “Seis-nueve.”

Jaime walks over as I roll onto my back and extends a hand. “Next one.” His tone is firm.

    I nod. Not this time.

  40. End of the week, my Friday. I am eagerly awaiting tomorrow, mostly because it marks the beginning of two free days off. Excited to spend some time with my loved ones, starting Saturday night! Get my drank on. :D
