  26. There is a scarf draped over the laundry basket with various toys in and about it. The scarf is mostly black with large pink roses and green leaves on it…and a magnificent black fringe on all four sides. The scarf has been a tent cover over some pink swim doodles that were bent into McDonald-like arches and help together in the middle with a ribbon. Then, also, one time it was worn as a scarf. Not as much fun, though. As a tent, it can be peeped through and talked through in hushed tones…like it’s colors are hushed tones, also. Scarves have secret lives. Be careful when you aquire them. Choose wisely. The potential remains to be realized.

Cotton is okay too. Or an orlon or other synthetic.

  32. color, a wrap around my mothers curlers, a fashion statement. useful piece of clothing coming in many sizes.I hoard them. Never wear them, just want them! for their color their fringe, their silliness, their comfort from the cold on your ears, the protection from the sun on your shoulders. useful to carry babies, to wrap around a broken arm, to carry produce in. Wrap it up correctly and you can have unique purse.

  33. I’ve always wanted to be a woman who knew how to wear a scarf. Not simply how to knot it, or how to care for it, but how to WEAR it, with a certain “look-at-me” attitude that would make people sit up and take notice. I’ve seen other women wear scarves, and I’ve sat up and taken notice every time.

  36. If it is cold outside you really should wear a scarf. There are so many different kinds and colors of scarfs and there are many functions for scarfs. It’s good to have at least one scarf on hand in case the weather takes a turn. Keep them in a handy place so you don’t have to hunt all over the house to find a scarf. Don’t you think a scarf is a great thing to have on hand? I especially like the more colorful scarfs but don’t like ones that are itchy. That’s about all I can think to write. A scarf is a wonderful thing to have so make sure you have one handy.
