I knew I wanted to meet some girls. When I got invited to a party at the colonel’s house I decided I would take a present in case I met a girl and it would impress her. So I got something I thought any girl would like and went to the party. I met a girl and we sat out in the yard and talked. Nobody wears a scarf anymore.” I picked up a piece of watermelon and pushed it in her face and said
