  10. I wrapped the scarf under my collar and tied it in front. It was bitter cold out and I knew I would probably be retying it around my mouth and chin after a few minutes outside.

    I hated the cold weather, and every year I dreaded that first cold snap. It signaled months of being uncomfortable.

  20. A scarf is an item of clothing to cover the head. I used a scarf to cover my bald head when I had cancer and was taking chemotherapy. In the winter I definately needed something to keep warm. A scarf can also be worn by a bandit to commit a crime and hide the identity. It was used by the cowboys of yesteryear to cover their mouths in a sandstorm or wipe sweat from their heads. Scarfs can be colorful and smart looking or they can be bland and make one look drab and uninteresting. Some people wear them as a belt or drape them over clothing as an accessory. I can’ think of much more to say about them.
