I once had a scarf, I wraped it around my head to keep the wind from blowing in my ears, the scarf was a nice was to protect me from any debres that were flying around that day.. that very windy day.. the scarf also muffled the loud wind sounds so I could hear the children playing, I had taken just a few extra minutes to take a short walk through the park, even though it was windy, it was not too cold.. it was just wind! the kids running screaming and just having fun was wonderful, there alsways seems to be such joy and excitement int hose first few days of fall. those crisp days, where it is not too awlful cold.. just cool enough that a nice warm cup of tea.. bowl of soup and a grill chees maybe on the back p[atio.. along with my favorite scarf would do the trick!

I remember what a feeling it was to be covered up with a warm scarf in the winter when a child. Your cold breath would cause moisture to gather and form into ice on your scarf. It appeared you were invincible from the cold. The scarf your mother tied tightly around your neck was a feeling or comfort and strength against the harsh winds of winter. I can still remember my mother making sure the scarf was tightly woven around my neck and then sending me out to take on the elements.

A scarf is something that keeps you warm in the winter. I think it kind of a silly idea how one piece of fabric will keep you warm. doesnt make sense. they are cheap christmas presents though for those friends who dont mean that much but you still want to get them something. i have two scarfs they are pretty nice. one goes with a hat that has parts to come down and cover your ears and a little fuzzy ball on top. i dont ever wear it, but the scarf is decent looking. if i was a scarf person i would wear that one.

I have a new scarf. It is blue and green. I wear it every winter. I enjoy this scarf and I have let many people borrow it. My daughter wears it when she goes sledding, and my granddaughter puts it on her dolls. We will never be able to replace this scarf.

I had a scarf I really liked when I was twelve. It was long and sheer, with wonderful colors. I wore it, at first, for very special occasions…then after a while, I wore it all the time because of how good I felt while wearing it. It was one of the best pieces of clothing I ever owned.

Jeanie makes these crochets. They are such brightly colored things. She made me a red mixed with white one. I wear it in the winters. We definitely need warm stuff around here in the winters. She also made one for each of the girls. The only problem is that since they are so easy to make, it’s easy to get way too many of them! They would be an easy project for the girls, but they don’t need anymore so I hesitate to have them make one for themself.

an article of clothing worn around the neck for decorative purposes or for warmth. Makes a sharp gal look very classy as an assessory to her outfit. Also, can be worn about the head as in Muslim life that demands that from their women. Also, can be thrown across the table (large square) in place of a tablecloth.
