Sometimes I like to scarf down my food. I have to wonder where such a strange idiom came from… perhaps from the scarf around one’s neck, and the fact that the scarf too tight is a hinderence to swallowing. I may never know.

Scarfs are a horrible accessory for a neck. They just look ugly. There is no cool way to wear a scarf. They are one of those accesories that your mother puts you in and you take off when you get to school. Geeks where scarfs. I dont. I’m not a geek. :D

Scarf is what my dog used to do with her meat meals… coming from a vegetarian home, she rarely had any tidbits worth gobbling, but when she came down with lymphoma, I switched her diet to an all-meat affair, and mixed those gobblets up for her to scarf down three times a day! It didn’t help, of course, but she really enjoyed her last days on earth.
Other than that, I’d love to wear a scarf of her soft poodly hair if I could have made one. Nothing like a warm puppy on a cold day.
