I wear scarves every time my hair goes bye-bye. I have stage 4 breast cancer, and am on and off chemotherapy all the time. It’s wonderful to have the scarf option; I especially love cotton scarves — they stay on the head better than their silk sisters, and they’re certainly cooler in the Arizona sun. Because of that sun, I also need a protector. I burn on my tender scalp is what my scarf helps me to avoid.
