Faster and faster he scarfed down the treats from the trays of sliver, devouring each trinket and morsel of desert as a starving lion would a young lamb. The carts were rolling in and out of the parlor for hours before he stopped, finally, at the consideration of near explosion. By the time he done with his rich spell of digestion, it was almost a full day later.

I don’t like scarves.. Well, I like the way they LOOK, but I don’t like them around my neck. I often liken it to some past life, perhaps I was a rustler and they hung me or something. I just can’t seem to get into wearing them. I love the way the french women are wearing them, elegantly draped over a mundane outfit to bring some life to it. I like the drape of them, the color they add – everything but the FEEL of them on my OWN neck. So, I have scarves – several, and I continue to buy them with the assumption that I will one day get over this hang-up and wear one. Even on days when I have gone ahead and put one on, it lasts for less than an hour, then is relegated to the confines of my handbag!

I usually don’t wear a scarf. They are too fussy. But I have found as I get older and smarter that a scarf really keeps ones neck warm in the winter. So I do enjoy a winter scarf. I like to match the scarf to my jacket. Makes me feel put together. I don’t like silky scarves reminds me of the 70s.
