She wrapped her scarf around my neck once, then tied it in a fasionable knot just below my chin. “Uh,” I said intelligently, “Tis is not quite my color.” She grinned, tapped my nose with her finger, and without a word, she was gone.

It feels great around my neck on a cold day. As a singer, I appreciate the scarf in ways that others could never imagine. Keeping my neck warm is very important to me and my trusty scarf never fails. Okay, I’m done!

A warm scarf is like a good friend. It can give you hope on the coldest of days. Without one all hope seems gone and smiling will be that little bit more difficult.

SCARVES. BOY O BOY. SCARVES. WELL, I HAVEN’T MANY EXPERIENCES WITH SCARVES. I ALWAYS THINK THEY LOOK WICKED COOL IF YOU WEAR THEM WITH THE RIGHT CLOTHES. MAYBE A BLAZER, OR A HEAVY COAT. sometimes i think they’d really make a huge impression on my friends, and they’d be like, “wow, he’s wearing a scarf. it’s black, and you’d think it looks stupid, but it actually looks really, really cool.” Black would be the color i want. i’d either wind it really tightly around my neck or flop it lazily once around. either would look wicked cool.

the scarf was red in the winter. my grandmother wore it before she passed away. I never forgot about it, during those cold winter days when I sat at home alone. I would cozy up by the fireside with a woman that never seemed to treat me like I wanted. I longed for the feeling of acceptance that I had whenever my grandmother caressed my head. The scarf never changed in my mind, though my mind changed around it.

i never knew how much it mattered to me. it blew in the wind and wrapped around her face in the perfect way. how is it that just one simple piece of clothing can manipulate me so, it makes me wonder just how

My red scarf was lying on the floor when I got home today. Evidence of a playful afternoon for the cats, no doubt. Rizzo and Gracie can be just as menacing as they are sweet. I imagine them running over the top of the bed, into the bathroom and back through the bedroom, into the hallway, sliding across the hard wood floor and crashing into the dresser where the little red scarf floats to the floor from one of the tiny hooks around the mirror. I really should keep my favorite things put away if I want them to survive the wreckage of playful cats. As much as the scarf gives me some symblance of fashion sense, though, the cats remind me that the best things in life are the simple joys. Like basking in the sun, being playful or stopping long enough to watch a little red scarf lazily saunter to the ground.

the scarf kept the woman warm when she was cold and it kept the sun off of her when the sun was hot. Every day she wore the scarf and over the years it became very worn and tattered. One day the scarf just completely wore out and fell off of her head. The squirrel that was going by grabbed the scarf for a nice warm item to add to his bed.

Something lovely to throw around my neck to be sylish or warm or show off my latest knitting project. I love the way real silk feels against my skin. It seems such a small indulgence when I buy them from garage sales. All the lovely colors and shapes to choose among. There’s nothing like a splash of a favorite color by my face fpor a quick pick-me-up on a cloudy day. Scarves lead to shawls…….

My mother always wore a scarf in the winter for protection in the cold. I only wear one as an added accessory to an outfit. I guess in cold countries, they would be worn in the cold most of the year. They can be very decorative, or plain but useful.

Once I wore a warm, fluffy red scarf to school. It was bitter cold outside, so I guess I just had to use one… I’m not that much a fan of scarves, but… Oh, well. Enough ranting.
It was, as I said, a cold, bitter winter day. The sun was glistening on the icy snow that crunched below my feet as I walked to school that December morning.

THe scarf was red, its length seemed as if blodo was dripping from her neck. The wind echoed into my ears and ripped through the trees.
She was beautiful. She was georgeous. She was dead.
The body hung from the tree and slowly swayed back and forth. The night was young in a since of me seeing this when I was 10. Im 30 now and so alone.

The red scarf billowed around the young wooman’s neck. The wind played with the scarf, wrestling it from her, and taking it away down the street. he had been watching from across the street, and gave chase to capture the scarf and perhaps win a conversation with the bearutiful girll. 50 yards later he had overtaken the scarf and walked it back to get the accolatedes he desired. the grateful young woman reached out for her scarf and their hands touched unexpectedly. She was surprised by the almost electric reaction.

I wear the scarf to make a point. The point is just this: it’s my head and if I want to cover it, I will. I don’t want to cover it and I never ever will. I would rather die than have someone tell me to cover my head as a sign of how sexy I am that all men will want to rape me if they see a lock of my hair. It’s their fucking responsibility to control themselves and how on earth did this all get started anyway, by some disgusting perve who wanted to watch Mohammed’s wives relieve themselves at night.
