  10. I smell incredible. I smell better than the nicest smelling flower on the globe. This is because I never wash. I rufuse baths. Ignore showers. Vomit at the thought of sponges. It’s a lonely life smelling this good. People are jealous. Jealousy stinks.

  11. The word perfume used today derives from the Latin “scent”, meaning through smoke. Perfumery, or the art of making scents, began in ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt but was developed and further refined by the Romans and Persians. Although scents and perfumery also existed in East Asia, much of its fragrances are incense based.

The world’s first recorded chemist is considered to be a person named Tapputi, a scent maker who was mentioned in a cuneiform tablet from the second millennium BC in Mesopotamia

  12. i smelled a smell that scent me scintillatingly toward my next destination, the shop of horrors known as the perfume shop. dressed in my cardigan, i knew it wouldn’t be the correct attier for a shop like this. i quickly flew around the mall and discovered about 5 shops that sold scarves. so i traded in my cardigan for a scarf and smelled so lovely it hurt. now i ache for that cardigan and will miss it till i get to cardiff. twill be a lovely drive, unless i miss the boat. seing as how the ocean is so far away, i haev to go now.

  14. The scent of flowers cascades through the air, like dancers on a stage. It never stops to linger, only if for a day. Never does it judge a book by it’s cover, but only by it’s smell. Sweet, langid and lonley.

  15. i love smellling
the scent of things makes me
wonder more about the world we live in
how can we smell all these amazing things
how can we humans possibly even live.
smell is a great sense that we have
so much to do with it
all the food we eat all the things we do
    includes scent
its what attracts you to other people
and it gives you your unique-ness
cause everyone has their own smell.
i love scents, perfumes everything to do with it.

  17. My nose is burning with this sensation. It is red like a rose and orange like the sunset. I feel it, hear it, and see it. If it were anything else, It wouldn’t be the same, but it is what it is, and that is bliss. If anything were not what it was, that would be chaos, attractive in its own way.

  21. i am reminded of springtime. the trees have blossoms on them and the flowers are springing up out of the ground. my favorite scent is lilac. i haven’t had the opportunity to smell the lilacs yet because the bushes by my house haven’t blossomed yet; i want to make sure that i do get a chance to smell them because they only have flowers on them for so long.

I smile as he walks across the street and turns back to wave and smile. I close the door, back upstairs where we just slept. Crawls under the cozy sheets and close my eyes as I press my face against his pillow, I can still smell his calogne- deep. I drift of into a dream…

  28. i wanted to get closer when i smelled
your sweat, i wanted to know why
it didn’t offend me, but as i came

  29. Scent is what you smell all of the time people are oblivious to it but it’s there, and you need no suggestion of anything else when it’s there, it’s scent, it’s existence is pervasive, SCENT details the acridity, the moral goodness or malefactition of something before one is aware of its moral leanings, something that smells offensive is offensive, something that smells good is good. Yes, I am aware malefaction isn’t a word. SCENT, though, it’s INTERESTING, a sense we humans need little now, considering we are the dominant species on that planet, and things have been smelling worse and worse as our clutch on the planet deepens.

    Milton Ashwhite

  31. your scent on my lips, the truth is i never loved you. or did i? the question runs through my mind the whole day long. it’s a question of existence, of futility. do we exist to love each other, or does love exist to make sure we do?
a dream or two perhaps will clear this up

    Patrick Gauding
  32. Scent is memory, it’s attaches itself to places and things and leads to better richer recollection. There’s that saying that it’s the strongest link to memory. It probably is. My favorite smell is my Aunt’s house, I only go there once every couple years.

  37. I love the smell of roses. At least I think I do. it always seemed like the thing to say, that you like the smell. I think they actually make my nose itch. Though, every now and then I smell a rose, normally by walking past it and reminds me of people who have passed away. Its not a sad feeling as such, just a nice reminder, like blackbirds or sunny days.

Funny how smell can make you think.

  38. It’s wherever I go. I can’t escape it. She’s been gone for ten years, yet it consumes me. Every morning I wake up thinking she’s still there – waiting for me to wake up, roll over, and kiss her for the first time – again.

    Keith Wallace

It was time to kill Ronaldo. i’d decided that the best way to go about it was the axe i kept in the shed.
