  1. The shift key on my keyboard is broken. I don’t know what I should do about it. Everything I write is just one big continuous line that stretches of forever. What if it never gets fixed, or if I never buy a new keyboard? Will it just keep stretching on forever? And where? Where does this line go? Where do all my words end up?

  9. “Get in the car!” bellowed Isaac, vaulting into the driver’s seat and clunking the car into gear.
Roaring filled the air as I scrambled for the handle, thrust myself in, whimpered in terror. Decomposing hands clawed at the windows as Isaac shifted into first, the engine screaming as it pummeled through the zombies.

  12. a shift in the wind can change the direction of a forest fire but it can also signify that a new and better change is about to occur people see things shifting and assume that it tilts against them. no so. it is when a shift occurs that new idea and happenings take place and new developments make the world a better place. A shift is just a change that needed to happen for reasons that may be completely unknown at the time but shows itself when the time is right and we are all better for it.

  18. my shifts at subway always used to drive me crazy. they were the weirdest hours and amounts of time. like really, who needs me to work from 12-3pm? i think i just hated my job in general. my manager was such a jerk and there was no reasoning with her, ever. it was as if she didn’t understand the way humans work. she was so socially awkward. i really pretty much hate thinking back on that job. when i find a new one i hope it’s different.
