  6. why in the world should we sit and think? i mean i am sitting right here and typing this out instead of sitting outside on a bench. leaving the sitter with my mom. that would be a first. sitting is good only if you know what you are doing. if you dont know what you are doing sitting is bad. it affects your brain

  7. I am sitting. That is what I do when I’m not doing the seven hundred other things I have on my to-do list. the chair swivels. I should get up. Just one more page, one more stumble, one more game, then I’ll get to the next “thing” on my list. I;ve got plenty of time, don’t I? Besides, I’ve given up my career to be a stay at home mom, right? I’ve earned sitting on my butt priveledges. They are mine!

  9. sitting at my desk and using my computer is one of my favourite pastimes. Sitting can only be done in short periods, though. You need to get up and move around after a while. It is also important to sit with the right posture to take care of your body. Sitting, however, is still one of the comfortabler parts of living, Sure beats walking around all the time. It is something you long for when you cant do it because your job means you have to be on your feet all the time. So it is something to enjoy and be grateful for when you have the chance to do it. I actually spend most of the day sitting so I have a very easy life and I can do whatever I like while I’m sitting. there’s no one to tell me what I should be doing or even how I should be sitting. It’s a good life and I am grateful that it is what I have.

But it wsa nice, it was blue and orange, and I guess we were all pretty content at that moment because how could we not be with such sweet serenity swimming and breathing around us? So then i just went home and slept.

  12. I was sitting in a large oaken chair in the vast chamber of my father’s den, when a book mysteriously and of course totally unexpectedly fell from the highest shelf and landed close to our feet. (My father was at his desk.) I picked it up, always intrigued by “signs”–and gulped when I saw the title: “The Fallen Among Us.”

  18. and feeling ants in my pants. Trying to keep my bum on this chair and focus. It is so hard. I don’t enjoy my job anymore. It doesn’t make sense. I feel my life ticking away while I sit and stare at this screen day in and day out. Trying to concentrate to focus. Guilty about not being productive enough…

  23. I came and thought about sitting but decided to stand as I could get a better view, view of what I don’t know,. but decided with my height that standing was better than sitting, I can see more clearly and be seen, I want to be seen and appreciated. If i sat no one would see me or appreciate me and my talents. I want to be seen, and I can’t be seen if I am sitting, unless I sit on a chair, I wish I had brought a chair, as I could stand on that, if not can I stand on your shoulders. I want to see and be seen, and I want to know what is going on. Do you know what is going on? If so can you tell me?

  27. Sitting is really good when you just can’t be bothered going anywhere or dong anything, I like sitting personally especially on the couch watching t.v, i think that sitting has it pros and cons, suck as, you can get really bored and sore muscles from sitting for a long period of time, but on the other hand it can be quite realxing after a long day of walking or around especially when sight seeing whilst travelling theres nothing lik getting home and just sitting!!

  33. i’m sitting here, wondering what to do next. it’s quite funny because i do have a lot to do but i just don’t know what to start with. It sort of reminds me of Newton’s 1st law of motion: whatever stays in rest will stay in rest until a net external force acts on it. In other words, Inertia. I need some external force to slap me into my senses and start my work!!

  34. I’m sitting in a chair made of some leather like material. It’s black and has metal. It’s a bit old but sometimes I’m not really comfortable sitting in it. But periodically it isn’t so bad. It would be best if I were sitting in a more comfortable chair. Then I could just fall asleep while sitting.
