Slouching is bad for you. Sometimes you slouch when your bored and don’t have anything to do. Also slouching can hurt your back.

slouch rhymes with couch. and slouching is mostly what people do who are stuck on couches all day long. slouch like sloths, with their socks on. slouching and getting high are also good options. listening to french music and eating pizza, procrastinating, not doing work, these are all characteristics of slouching. i should really be writing an essay right now. not about slouching though. but as it happens, i’m slouching on my couch.

She slouched down on the couch as she heard the news. Moving? She didn’t want to leave all her friends behind. She had just come out of her shell at school, and was starting to become noticed. All that was about to be taken away from her. She slouched further into the couch cushions, hoping to disappear.
Every weekday I walk by my coworker’s desk and am in awe of her straight, perfect posture. It seems almost alien to me as I feel that I am constantly at my desk slouching. It is so difficult for me to consciously think about sitting straight! More yoga to come!

In school there was this boy named Rick who sat away from everyone else. People made fun of him. His eyes were slowly closing and he had bags under them. You could eaisly tell he had no sleep. He would slouch in his seat and never listen to the teacher. Maybe it was because of the big science final today. I wish I asked him to join me and my friends yesterday to study. It looks like he could of used the help. I hope he doesn’t fail. Well what is done is done. But, after class I asked him to hang out with me sometime and maybe study. The next day he had a smile on his face from ear to ear. That afternoon we went to the library and talked and drew other people. From that day on Rick has been my best friend.
I slouch way too much. I just find myself bending over and folding in on myself when I sit. I’m actually a bit worried about getting a hunch-back, because my great-grandmother has a hunch-back, and it is not pretty at all.
Walking through the hallway to my first class, I noticed an overall slouch throughout the entire student body. I had it, too. It wasn’t a surprise, at all, really. Nick, the nicest, funniest kid that everyone loved had died in a car crash.
People have at least heard of slouching towards bethalam but I more commonly here it when I refer to myself. “Comon don’t b a slouch” get into the mood! I tell myself. Anyways that just what comes to mind, nothing else better. Personal anecdote.

Slouched against the old rocking chair, Spunky stares back at me. His plastic black eyes tell stories I hope to never forget, his mangled fur the remains of hot days running through the sprinkler and messy spaghetti dinners, his tangled tag the evidence of my love.
Don’t slouch. Don’t be late. Don’t mumble. Don’t smile. Don’t talk. Be still and be quiet. Don’t interrupt. Don’t be rude. Don’t laugh.Don’t do or be anything. Just exist….
Casually, he slouched
he aired the feeling of relaxation and the flowing sound of a non-awkward silence, flavorful and glorious, like strawberry candies in the spring
I shrugged, maybe I could do the same but… but I didn’t have the right personality
didn’t have the right face
that wasn’t me.
don’t crouch down
or slouch
it’s not cute

you should stand tall
and walk hard
make waves
and break boards

when it feels right
you’ll find you made the right choices
even with mistakes in your life

Slouching is bend your back forward. Your back is not straight when you slouch. I usually slouch when I’m bored in class, but I’m slouching right now.

Michael don’t slouch.
Marry Poppins is my childhood idol. Although ofcourse I’m glad I was not raised by a nanny but it wouldve been fun now wouldnt it. I want a bag that has a lamp in it.
as soon as the words escaped my full red lips, he slouched back down into his chair
like a collapsed balloon that used to be full of air
used to be full of excitement, light and weightless worth nothing
a balloon that leaked slowly, and instead of fresh air, there was pain tinted blue
a pie
Casually, he slouched
he aired the feeling of relaxation and the flowing sound of a non-awkward silence
I shrugged, maybe I could do the same but… but I didn’t have the right voice
didn’t have the right face
that wasn’t me.
“What a slouch!”, he exclaimed, his partner was practically doubled over in the high backed office chair. He waited for the smart ass reaction, but it never came…

Don’t slouch, my mom says to me. It’s a bad habit, you don’t want to get into that bad habit. Sit up, please.
umm.. i really don’t know what slouch means.. but it does sound like sloth. And from what i think, I’m pretty sure slouch means your like hunched over or something. Right?
I saw the immediate slouch of his shoulders. He sank back into the chair, burying himself in his coat and the thick scarf wound around his neck. It was as though he wished he could invisible. He didn’t want anyone to see him for what he really was. Not even himself.
That’s how my friend Caroline used to sit. Slouched and off-centered, careless, yet cool. A defiant way. Yet in other ways, it can be the result of one who’s seen a tiring life.
She slouched on the couch because she had nothing left to do. She slouched because she was lazy and she had no energy. She wasn’t in the best of health and she knew it. She tried not to think about it because if she did, her fragile little self-esteem would collapse and then where would she be?

Oh mercy me, Marcie! Stop slouching like that or you’ll never catch a proper man. “But mom. I don’t want a proper man.” “You want a man who slouches like you?” “Yes, ma. A man who slouches and keeps his tie undone!”
“What a slouch!” hollered my mother as she towered over me with a damp dishrag. “I slave all day and all you do is laze about on the couch.”
I rolled over and buried myself deeper into the beer stained cushions. What was there to get up for anyway?

“Don’t slouch!” That’s what my parents always used to say, as well as all of my teachers. It’s not that I would slouch all of the time; they didn’t always say it to me, but it’s a phrase that they would say constantly. It’s a phrase the triggers the “good old days,” where I had little knowledge of worldly things and few responsibilities.
We were sitting together in the chair. There wasn’t room for the two of us. We were hiding from my parents and their friends. They were in the other room talking about where to go to eat. We couldn’t care less. Why was it always such an ordeal? Let’s just eat. It’s vacation. Something special. Why not pizza? Why couldn’t we ever get room service? Why was that always such a big deal?

To bend over or to sit in a chair and bend when your sleeping or reading.

I see spencer, and he has pretty good posture….not too much slouching involved. But then there’s Beret….now he might have a problem.

On my A-Days, at least 55.5% percent of the time i hear, “DON’T SLOUCH IN YOU CHAIRS, YOU LOOK LIKE A BUNCH OF SLOBS!!” -Ms. Whipple.
Changing Choirs everywhere.
Period.

I was born with this slight slouch
the feet that drag themselves
these eyes one lazier than the other
And I hear Peanuts when you speak
grounded down to drowned decibels
You can take me by the hand
but fingers must fight the fur
that they tell me is there
though I’ve squinted
and seen nothing but white
And don’t, please don’t write
my name on the board,
please sir not again

“Sit up, it’s a sign of confidence, dear.”
The sullen teen glared at her mother and yanked the headphones out of her ear. “What?”
“Stop slouching, people will think you don’t think highly of yourself.”
“Mom, clearly you already do.”
