4 Entries for “smell”

  1. As I get up and open the door to the outside world, I smell many things: fresh grass, flowers, cool air, and earth, maybe a little car exhaust, and someone cooking bacon or toasting bread for breakfast. I am so happy to have smell in my life. Aromas and odours have strong ties to memories, both pleasant and not so pleasant.

  2. The smell of the food cooking woke her up. She had been dreaming of breakfast in the past, of smelling pancakes and bacon frying. She lay in bed for a moment, saving those smells and tastes from her childhood.

  3. My memories are exacerbated by smells, from the most unknown yet ancient, to those ordinary smells that sometimes I love, sometimes I feel irritated and almost ready to crush the word lovingly.

  4. Smell is one of the most crucial sensory perceptions as it provides us with timeless memories, connections, and histories.
I remember having memories of my family’s cooking through the smell that was vital for being a child and enjoying the world.
