  11. I put my fingers together and a sound comes out from it. It’s called a snap. Bitches do snap. They give snaps for something amazing or terrible. It’s also an expression. Gimme snaps! Also, a snap is a good exercise for the fingers! I like doing it when I dance, too. I snap instead of counting and saying the numbers out loud. I also snap when I remember something that I forget. I snap when I hate myself! Haha! I love snaps! Snap is awesome.

  25. SNAP. it was the crack of the bough that bought the whole plan down. Bitty had been nimble enough to slide out the window and drop down into the large tree that reached towards the sky. But as her weight bore down on the branch, collapsing as it did despite her small frame, the escape plan was foiled. And the only sound she could remember was that terrifying snap!

  31. Snap went the bone in her neck and then it was just a question of time. She thought of her friends and family. She thought of what she hadn’t yet done, what she had hoped to do but hadn’t achieved. She thought of the places she had seen on TV but never visited.

    Sarah Crowther
  32. I hate when people say, “Oh, snap!” That’s just a stupid use of a word that could be used for something better. “Oh, snap!” doesn’t even make sense. What are you saying when you utter this? It’s utterly ridiculous. I’d like it a lot better if instead someone said, “Oh, balderdash.”

aww shit, man. Seriously? that’s what i thought of? god dammit Alex. All of your writing is the same. Make a joke, laugh, and then beat yourself down. do you really see yourself that waY? maybe so. honestly, it is rather pathetic.

  34. Oh snaps, how little you mean. And yet how much. Snaps to go faster, snaps to say congrats, snaps that mean ‘come here’ and snaps that mean ‘oh no you didn’t.’ How is it that such a simple sound, such a simple action, can be interpreted in so many ways? It blows my mind. How we all turn these pointless things into things that mean so much.

  38. “Oh Snap!” That’s usually what someone says when they utter a particularly witty reposte, a “zinger” if you will. Not this time however. This time we all said it because it was the only thing we could say. I mean, the human spine isn’t really set up to bend in that direction after all.
