  22. It was a sombre moment when all the monkeys were in the tree over our house. We couldn’t think of what to do with all of them because they were just as menacing as they could be when all of a sudden my son lit a fire cracker and they all went scampering off into the woods.

  24. He wore his sombre with great pride, and the people adored him as he strode along on his ass.
Down the streets and boulevards he was a sensation as people applauded him. What a wonderful day this was for him. The donkey also felt pride as his owner was applauded by the common people. The people also wore their sombre on their faces.
It was a gloomy day for all, but for the man on the donkey, he was in all his glory as he wore his sadness with great valour.

  34. sombre reminds me of sombreros, u know those wonderful large mexican hats that banjo ?? men wear .

Originally i think it was used to block out the sun to prevent skin cancer (damage??- block out the sun??) and all, but personally i find it a bit useless.

Don’t they have dark skin and aren’t dark skin people more resistant to sun ?? But then again i’m no expert on sun and skin..

    that is besides the point…
