  2. better to write about sombrero which is a straw hat I used to wear when I was a child. Beach trips and sand and sun. Sombre is the way my life is right now and it is sometimes better to reflect on the past than the current situation.

  4. not drunk. no that would be sober. Sombre is a different word that reminds me of church or a funeral. Those are somber occasions. See I spelled it differently, so I’m still wondering if I have the right word yet. I am probably way off.

  26. I like to play with words, and the first thing that hits me is the similarity to the Spanish word “Hombre.” I guess I would make a play like, “There’s one sombre hombre,” and mispronounce one or the other to make them rhyme.
