  3. I like specific things. I once met a guy who couldn’t say the word specific. I tried to teach him how., It didn’t work. it was at a camp at a school near my house. . . His name was Grady. He knew all the Subway stations and drew maps of them. Am I being wired? I wonder if you can type after your time is Up. I’m pretty sure you can. I am. Apparently I have ADD because. . . I can’t focus on the word “specific!”

    i’m very good at being specific. in fact, i probably do it too much. i make things complicated, yet easy. i’m all the information you need, and plenty you don’t need.

  11. I hate vagueness in most things. I hate wandering descriptions when it really only requires a few words: “pink house, third on the left”. Lately I’ve become easily irritated and snappish with vague or overly-explaining people.

  19. Specifically, I have nothing to say about specific. Although, lately, I have been saying it quite alot. Instead of saying particularly, I have adjusted my vocabulary to say specifically. So if you were to ask “Are you hungry?” my response may be “No, not specifically.”

  24. When people get specific with words, directions, etc, it narrows down options. It allows you to understand ideas and thoughts of other people better. You create an easier way, an easier path, when you give specific examples or specific ways to do something. Being specific makes life easier, as well as a simpler understanding of any one around you.J

  25. If I were to be specific, I would say that its not my favorite thing to do, although its what I end up doing almost every afternoon. Its a chore, per say, but its just… Not my choice. I like to do it, or used to, but now, the magic is lost.

Fill me in on every level possible. But I don’t really want to know what you’re thinking. I want to hear what I want to hear and I want you to say that. Can’t you do that for me? But please, be as specific as possible so that I can truly know what you’re thinking.

  40. specificity is overrated. the fewer questions, the better. why discuss things that are painful or uncomfortable to discuss when one can simply avoid specifics. ok, plans are necessary. i hate people who can’t plan. eff it, i love specificity.
