  22. I’ve never been too much in the spotlight. The only reason i’ve ever been recognized is because of the fact that I come from a family of 11 kids. This kind of sucks because i’ve always dreamed of singing on broadway, and im choir too. Its a show choir kind of like glee but not. But i never get any solos or anything because i’m too quiet all the time. Maybe if i want to be in the spotlight i have to make myself known more.

  26. I hate being in the spotlight. It is something I try to avoid at all costs. For example, I directed the play at our church. What did I do when they wanted me to take a bow? I hid in the back of the audience where no one could see me. And that was a good play too. Something to be proud of. But that’s just me. Some people want all the glory, while others just want to do what they do.

    Lanie

  29. I’ve never exactly craved the spotlight, although when playing my flute i sometimes feel an incredible desire to start playing my own music and ignore the page in front of me. I don’t think this stems from a desire for attention but a craving to create the music in my head.

  30. She stands in the spotlight, the rest of the theatre is dark. No one else hears her sing, no one else is there but her. Then where did the spotlight come from? She wonders but all there is is the light in her heart glowing for him, as she sings what she wishes she could say to him the thousands of words she wished she could say but never could.

  33. i never want to be in the spotlight. i hate performing in front of people, and all i want to do is watch. as britney spears said, “there are two types of people in the world, the ones the entertain and the ones that observe.” I’m the latter. Unlike Britney, I’m not a “put on a show” kind of girl. I don’t enjoy the spotlight. I get shaky and sweaty when I have to speak in front of people, even people I’m close to. I like recognition, sure, but don’t give me a spotlight.
