  21. I don’t startle very easily. And when I do get startled, I’ve been told that it’s very adorable. Not sure how I feel about that, but at least people have stopped thinking I’m fourteen. I mean, I’m almost twenty, it was getting a little silly.

  36. I flipped on the light after putting my bag down and changing into lounge pants. I flipped on the light for some reason, lord knows I don’t need it to know my way around my room. I was indeed startled to see her cuddled up in my bed, sound asleep…or not, a sliver of a grin gave her away.

  39. i got startled by the fact that my aunt sleeps with the neighbor’s dog. just because she lives alone, doesn’t mean she gets to do things like that.It was a scary night and I found them sitting on their couch like that, holy Jesus it startled the living crap out of me.
