I am startled when I think of how the world has changed since I wwas a kid. I never dreamed that so much could happen and it doesn’t seem as though it has really been all that long. Maybe it’s the effect of memory, maybe my visions of the past are distorted, but it seems like the sky was bluer, the air was clearer and more birds were singing in 1970 than there are today.
