As he dropped the flower with a sigh for how little satisfaction it gave him, he nursed his prickled hands and wondered how many more cactus flowers he would have to pluck to quench his thirst.

  14. stem is the name of a part of a flower, a flower is beautiful just like the sky. i wish i could fly, maybe like superman? but being dash would be better, it would save time. i would be able to do so much more with my time if i were dash. i would be able to participate in so many ore activities than i can now. that would be fun

  15. the stem is the base of the leaf and a flower always needs the stem because it gives it nutrients and support. i learned about this subject in science this semester and it was annyoying because i only got like an 80 something on my test and it sucks cuz my average last year was 93 and i don’t want it to go down

  23. Flowers have stems. They usually hold up the head, or they’re there for the leaves to hang on. They’re kind of fragile, really. You can pick them using two fingers, or pop the heads off, like daisies. I once tried drinking the milk out of a dandelion stem, but it didn’t taste very good.
