The leaf stems from the living. Go out to live, eat and be happy. Think not of the limitations life has, you have all the time to do what you like.

it all stemmed from the falling snow. the burnt orange caddy slid off the road hard on that sunday night. heads against dash boards, and broken glass in beards.

A leaf stem. So green. Green is one of my favorite colors though I used to hate it because I thought it was ugly and far too many people like it. It reminds me a lot of my Freshman year and the friends I once had since it was one of their favorite colors. It also reminds me of that really cute green jacket I once had but I have no idea where it is now which is a pity.

the stem grew thinner, subsidding under the pressure to support the weight of the ever blooming flower. as roots grew deeper into the earth, the seasons chanced and it become winter and the polarity of the root and the shoot and everything ended.

The stem of the flower blossomed off into a beautiful flower. Only a woman as radiant as her deserved such a flower. The brilliance it brought about, the shining dew it held, it was the essence of perfection. It brought a wave of awe to my heart, as if I were in the presence of a phoenix, that was how I felt with her.

The beginning. The source of strength from which everything springs forth. Sans stem, the world collapses under the weight of its own complexity of things that just don’t matter.

the stem of a flower is very important to the flower itself. it’s the straw through which the flower drinks its nutrients. it’s the transportation to the cells and fluids which must be drained.

The stem started as a shorty, woody and bright. Day by day, hour by hour, it grew. The leaf came quickly, boldy, green and true. It was a beautiful thing, but only one of many, many, many.

stems hold things up. I could probably use a stem. although in the end they don’t do flowers much good. broken so easily after all. still I want to be as pretty as a flower. that would be a step in the right direction.

Stem from a flower. Flowers are pretty. I like flowers. What am I talking about again? Oh yeah, stems. Wine glasses have stems. Nice stems! :S

and so i sat and i watched….i don’t know what i was waiting for, but it seemed that at the time it was the most important thing in the world to me….i watched as the stems of the flowers slowly grew. yes, i literally watched grass grow. and to my amusement this period of time went by faster than any other part of my life.

long stick holding up a flower…… uplifted from the ground; reaching up to the sky but being blocked from directly vertical sunlight by leaves and petals. holds up the main point, but also is held down by roots.

Ahh a stem… Yes the stem that supports life; that gives and takes. That supplies beauty, wealth, health, and support. The stem that gives life and takes away. Yes… the stem.

It’s on a plant. It reminds me of Biology last year, actually, when we did plant biology. I hated that section. I was really bad at ait. And the lab took FOREVER. But it wasn’t bad, considering. It could have been worse.

I couldn’t believe how far her legs went. From the floor to who the hell knew where, my eyes just kept going up and up until I met with a scowl.
“Like what you see?”
“Uh, what?”
“You were staring at my legs, perv.”
“Oh, um… well…”

I pushed the stem of the giant dahlia into the vase and wondered…should I have left it in the garden for passersby to enjoy instead of bringing it in?

the flower. it was growing. i couldn’t help it. i had to pick it. now it stands on my windowsill in the vase I made last year. sometimes i feel guilty. i should have left it, left it to grow. i’m still growing. and i will not stop.

as we reach the height of a new generation we find more problems ahead of us. although these problems are not the idea of a real problem, they are considered social issues, one of the being stem cell reasearch, not exactly an issue but one that has gone through a lot of debate.

Lots of shit stems from little stuff. Like one day when I told my friend I was hanging out with a guy, who used to go to her old school, and if I’d never said that, we wouldn’t have not talked to eachother for three terms. So a lot of the stuff I say I do, I wonder how its going to affect me, or how it could change my whole future.

I was talking through the park when I discovered a large stem sticking out of the grass. As my eyes followed it upward, I realized how high it went. It extended to the tops of the trees surrounding it and did not stop until farther that my eyes could see. When I reached what seemed to be the end, the sun shone too brightly for me to make out a clear image.

The stem was long and green, supporting the elegant flower of beauty. Her life was about to change forever. Walking down the aisle, holding this single stem, this single flower, a single tear in the corner of her eye. She knew she was doing the right thing.

flowing fast and beautiful the petal is at the end of the stem. falling, gone missing. The color is now on the ground and in stark contrast with the pavement.
