  4. I took another step forward. The feeling of insecurity was slowly fading away but my heart was still unsure. I didn’t know what to think; my mind was conflicted. On one side, maybe this could help me. Maybe this was in my favor. But on the other hand, what if it was my ruin, my destruction? What if it destroyed everything I had worked for? Was it a risk I could take? Was it a risk I was brave enough to take? Or was I just going to take one step forward and then two steps back again?
