I love to listen to music, it can change my mood. I am buying a macbook pro soon, and I need to buy some stereo speakers that can really fill my room with sound. It can become my oasis or my venting place, to inspire or cheer. It can also let me express my happiness.
Sarah
stereo would go up the minute mom left the room playing wall shacking rock and roll always watching for the car to roll in and then down goes the volume again

music makes the world go round with the wonders of how many appliances can provide it. The stereo needle, the record, the turntable, the dials…..how I miss the scratchy scratch. or does stereo mean any unit that provides music with a volumn, and tune selection. 8 tracks, tape players, boomboxes, walkmans, ipods, itunes, cds, cd players, mp3s burn your own. The louder the better; not so much for the ears, but I LOVE MUSIC, it takes me to a places that have made me feel sad and happy and ecstatic and hopeful and that the world is all right. at the same time providing the truth through country music that not everyone wants to hear.

i hear you speak and i hear you in stereo… but one half is telling all the cynical thoughts that could cross you and the other is speaking of what we couldve been… i wonder if we could still be something but you mute that idea… yet i hear you in stereo

music I love it it fills the void that is left at the end of the day when nobody is texting or iming. When the radio or stereo goes silince it is like an incredible being has left the room and there you are left alone with the memories and melodies and thats all there is.

I was born before stereos were. I thought they were very cool and very expensive when I first heard of them. I had a radio. It was pink and had a built-in alarm clock.

system and sounds. both sides. mono, double. life in tandem. boom box on shoulders, shitty music blaring from a radio in the cracked hot city pavement summer. silence and noise. black and silver.

what loud music i hear coming from that stereo. I hear classical, jazz, blues, rap, hip hop, r&b, alternative, ska etc. i love listening to all kinds of music except country. it is hard to write about this one word because i feel like it’s a race yikes!

Stereo, stereoscopic, stereo sound, around you, surrounding you. Mono, me, singular, one. Does it matter. Maybe I want mono. Monochrome, monoculture.
Cat
I saw it there through the windshield. I saw a nice place for it. In that car. Who owned the car? I don’t know. But I decided I was going to put a stereo in there. He didn’t have one. Maybe his was stolen. Maybe even that day. Wouldn’t it be weird if he opened his car to find a stereo that wasn’t his in there?

the sound of two at once, both places at the same time, in both ears, filling your head.. it’s a sound of fullness, a sound of harmony, or dissonance, depending. always depending. two sounds, two places, two people, to minds. two voices, two everything, working together, or clashing into a raucous mess of disorienting noise. love in stereo. love together.
~melly

Stereos are underated, I love the things, especially old ghettoboxes. The sound the base. Unequaled in the digital world. Makes me want to bust a move.

Wow, two speakers and some sound. This was once the cutting edge of audio technology, but compared to surround sound 5.whatever setups we have today, sheesh, it’s hard to think “two points of output” was ever impressive. And what about “stereo systems” with tape players and turntables?
Xeigrich
welcome to stereoscopic vision. do you have the time to stay? take a look, you can see everything in sounds. there are only five of us here. sorry about the background noise. and the monotony. how stereotypical of me.
she leaned over and flicked the switch. The song that came on lifted her spirits faster than she thought possible. The meaningful lyrics, the upbeat melody and the catchy effects were spectacular. The song became her favorite quickly, and for good reasons, too.

Stereos; small, sleek, music

Stereoscopic vision is the best preventer of accidents in everyday life. A stereo player, on the other hand, can actually cause accidents, especially when you wear a headset while driving a car. What about stereograms, then? Do they really improve eyesight? Or are they just headache inducers? Whatever it is, I don’t know whether the word is Greek or Latin

I remember getting my first stereo when I was 13 years old. It had a CD player which was very big at that time.

Stereo sing louder, drown out my aches. Sing to me sweetly in broken waves. A quiet fizzing is imperfect. I hate it. It’s just what I wanted.
Sarah Tarpley
Loud crashing thunder of my ears bleeding sorrow, joy of joy and fiery anger, set ablaze a country, soothe a beast of burden crazy, love and rhythm compounding.

Music playing loud while you drive down the street at 2 AM with your best friends. The bass is thumping and your heart beats in synch. You know all the words and you sing along. Happiness is so real you can feel it in the wind and your cheeks hurt from smiling
