  20. Most of my life is held in storage. In a cold warehouse, on the wrong side of town, behind a chain link fence, there’s an orange door with a padlock. Sometimes we lose the key. That always sucks. Inside, is my life. Clothes and books and jewelry and pictures…so many pictures. And everything that was me until I got my own house, and therefore, by necessity, my own storage. Except we aren’t just our stuff, our lives aren’t just what is in cold storage.

At school I had way too much storage and that was kind of annoying because it made my room look empty. I miss that room though, it turned out nicely.
