  14. I really don’t like styrofoam cups. I get this weird urge to nibble on the tops, where my lips meet the liquid. Is it odd for me to say this? I can;t think of any other way to try and explain the sensation. But when I bite into the cup, I hate to sensation of the gritty feel between my teeth. and when i go for another sip, I bite into it again.

  15. There’s nothing I love more than receiving a big box, opening it, (suspense!) and discovering the little Styrofoam ‘s’s.’ I used to chew on them when I was a kid. They weren’t very yummy, but they amused me to no end, nonetheless.

  19. It was destroying the planet, and she did everything she could to stop it. Not like it would matter. Styrofoam was one of the most commonly used substances on the planet. Restaurants, convenience stores, and other common places like it’s cheapness and reliability. Schools use it for lunch trays, and there was nothing she could do. One step at a time, she realized, we’re destroying the world as we know it.

  20. When we were still living on the island, my brother and I would break apart the styrofoam packaging that came with our father’s shipments for work and rub the uneven pieces together till those soft, white dots covered the floor around us in weightless dust like the snow we saw on t.v. but had never touched before.

  21. Styrofoam is pretty descent when used for packing things. However, that’s about all it is useful for. Personally, I can’t stand the noise it makes when you touch it. It sounds like nails on a chalkboard. Fortunately it doesn’t leave you feeling weird like nails on a chalkboard.. but still it sucks to make that noise.

  23. Styrofoam was her obsession. It seemed that there was always a new use for it. Whether that be a door stop or a new couch she knew it was cheap and light and quite affordable. Yet whenever he came over she felt the need to store everything in the guest bedroom so that he would never know the secret of her insanity.

  27. I hate the way styrofoam sound when it’s rubbed against itself. In fact, Friety was doing that intermittently for about ten minutes the other day at work and it was terrible! Sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me. I think Friety is a ottal babe. I took a quiz online before and it told me I put work before relationships. Is that maybe because it;’s alot easier to account for work than it is for my functioning in relationships?

Inside, warm coffee rippled; seven packages of sugar laid inside, most undissolved and resting in granulate mountains on the bottom. This made his lips sweet; I tasted when pressing my own mouth to his.
