  1. what is substance but a word. there is nothing really without substance. so substance is only thing s juxtaposed to nothing. so everything is substance. i have subtance. you have substance. substance in another context- personality is based on pretentious asholes and there definitions of what a person should be.

  2. this was the same as before. her substance was light stuff. but smoother. seen too much, heard to much. smoothed over her pain, tried to hide it, to not change. smoother. but i could tell. i knew her too well. she blinked.

    I’ve been on substance a lot lately. I think I’ll probably slow my roll. Something about the substance makes me feel like I’m letting people down. I don’t want to let people down.

    where did it come from?
    why was I so curious?
    If I harmed it would it be substance abuse?

  5. She has no substance. And we’re not talking mental make-up here, but instead molecular matter. She’s a phantom of the night, with no shape or form, sneaking into small children’s bedrooms as they sleep. Waking them with creepy whispers, the child proceeds to wet the bed, and then must live with the embarrassment for the rest of his or her life, suffering flashbacks of the event on a daily basis.

    Or is it the most real thing of all, transcending that which we may try to suggest is more important?

  7. there isn’t necessarily much substance to what I write about. I spend most of my time going through the possibility of my meanderings before i put them down on paper, so what comes out on the page is nothing but a washed down droning from a slightly deranged mind.

  8. i have to write something about substance, hopefully it does not have to have much. Substance that is. Defining substance would be one way to waste some space. I could also do an abstract definition of substance. I could discuss different types of subsances

  15. Something that when misused can lead to a serious deficit in your ability to cope with life. What can start out as fun and entertaining can quickly turn into a life of depression, misery, lack of motivation and regret. Fortuntaely I kept my own experience under control and luckily had a great life… so far!

  18. Oh my goodness. This is what is called a portent portent? word. It’s what we all want but never feel like we can be. No substance, shallow, lost. I want substance down to my toes. Writing gets me there as fast as anything.

  19. Substance abuse can be defined in one way.. Choosing uppers instead of downers.. with uppers you only have one place to be once your there and thats down.. or at least untill you do the drug again, but with downers once you reach the peak you go up from there.. so its harder to abuse the drug or overuse it

I have met a similiar one before, you never quite know which type it will be, its always a guess, the testing of this kind of material… I’m not sure, i cant really remember much about why I am here and why I drink these things every day, maybe it just how life is, but I seem to remember something else, something somewher beyond the barriers of this world, maybe one day I will reach it.

  31. I had a drug problem ever since I was 13 years old. My mother was a drug addict and as a child I was completely against it. As soon as I tried it I was addicted and I could never get my old self back.

  33. the substance of life is a funny thing. what we’re doing here and what we’re made up of is something that people all around the world search for on an ongoing basis.

    the funny thing about searching for the substance of life is that the search itself is somewhat irrelevant. the definition of that “substance” is different for every person, and must be defined throughout the course of one’s own journey.

  35. i have some, i guess but its not all about me. i found some, picked it up, looked inside – it was a substance though i didn’t know what for. gloopy, with a bit of a sparkle and it looked different everytime i looked at it. someone else found a substance, we put our substances together and made a great thing that morphs.
