here is often little substance to my writing. there is often little substance to my thought, or so I often think. does lack of relevance imply lack of substance? for instance, does singing “I’m A Little Teapot” or songs from The Lion King in math class mean my thoughts lack substance? I often feel insubstantial.

  32. Substance is what is. It is what everything is made up of and the only thing that something can possibly be made up of. When we think of substance we think of certain properties. Extension, existence ability to be sensed in some way or another. Substance is also another name for drug by which a euphemism is employed to try to give it a bad name. Also every time we think of substance it seems there is something below stance and so there can be something above stance. So maybe there is something other than substance and this is a world view called Dualism. Substance is.
