  1. This is the same word i wrote about yesterday. I wrote about addiction and the struggle that comes about from it. The problems that surround us can all be led back to an addiction to something, to someone. Not only drugs but people who, we are dependant. Drugs and people are equally addicting and both can lead out to be bad for you.

  8. the substance has been diluted. an unknown substance. we had to find one in our chemistry coursework. well actually it was the relative strength of an unknown acid. accept we knew what the acid was, cuz miss told us, then the results we got did not actually give us the original acid.

    so actually it has nothing to do with substance

  10. we all need substance in our lives. I actually had to stop and re=read the word. solid. fulfilling. worthy of our time. cotton candy is good, but not every day. books, music, film, art, time with family and friends….. these all lend substance to our lives.

  11. We often refer to the substance of a political candidate. What do they subsist of? Courage? Intelligence? Honor? Diplomacy? All of these are worthy traits indeed. Then how did we find ourselves with, for the past 8 years, a president with so little substance?

  14. I have a bit of a problem with alcohol. It’s not that I abuse it, it’s that I love it way too much. I’m slightly afraid that I could become an addict when I get older (I’m ony seventeen)but my main concern for right now is getting caught. I think that it would be far more helpful if my parents would just let me drink with them instead of making me sneak around.

  19. Substance. What things are made of, right? Right now I’d like to clobber the things that make that alarm clock of mothers go off every noon – it’s not set to do so, and it rarely shuts up afterwards. Sometimes yes, but usually no.

    How do the animals and Heidi stand it? Heidi and the animals – my sweet girl should go first easily!

  20. so many to abuse, and i find myself each night with a lighter under a spoon, and i have that belt tied around my arm, and i can see your face. i will not remember this, i will not be remembered. wake up in a daze in order to hold that lighter under that spoon again.

  39. Substance Abuse. It’s all over the news. Drug busts. DUIs. Jail terms for a coke dealer. We hear a lot about substance abuse, but when will we hear about people dying across the world from AIDS? The rising numbers in India? How about people who can’t afford to eat in “3rd world” countries?
