  8. there’s something so ethereal about getting on the subway at this hour, he thinks. eight minutes to midnight and everything should be quiet, but it’s so loud and angry, going underground is almost an escape. he frowns and takes a seat across from a woman with grocery bags and next to a man with an implacable smell, and wonders just how long it is till his stop.

  17. It a dark train station, a young lady of the night, stumbles in her five inch paten leather heels, till she drunkenly reaches the bottom of the stairs. She has no clue why she came her after her rough encounter with her newest john, but she felt an unatural pull to this location.

  21. The subway is full of interesting people. People watching is fun. Fat ladies with lots of kids, hobos, possible aliens…hey is that Jack Nicholson? I think it is! Oh, nope, just another homeless guy. Why do I take the subway again? I have no idea. But I guess it has its advantages.

  27. I was walking one day down to the subway, when I spotted my favorite store. I walked inside, greeted the storekeeper, then noticed something strange. My boyfriend, Scott, was standing there with another girl–my arch-enemy, Audrey, who was trying to steal Scott from me. I became incredibly angry very quickly, as she pulled him into a long kiss. I walked up to them, pushed her away, punched her in the face, and grabbed Scott. I slapped him. “Don’t you ever do that to me again,” I growled. “I won’t, love. SHE came on ME,” he said, defending himself and pulling me into a long kiss. Longer than Audrey. Haha, bitch.

    in a million moments
    I had never dreamed
    Never dared to think

I had forgotten to grab a newspaper to keep me barely entertained along the trip, but I had not long left to travel so I decided it was alright. The man with the devil horns kept my interest captive enough. He seemed nice enough, though, not so much evil.
