  12. It was an amazing day when I walked down with my friends to eat that summer day. It was all five of us, Ron, Ian, Ivan and Nick. We had hard earned money in our pockets, and empty stomachs. Of course, the trip was more fun than the actual meal. By the time we arrived, we nearly forgot what we were supposed to do. But that’s what friends are for, right?

  19. one day i was taking the subway to work when i decided that i no longer had any interest in wasting my time standing still while a machine carried me off to another machine where i could once again be a cog to a life i didn’t choose.
the next day, i walked to work.
    it was so much better.
the day after, i stopped going to work completely.

  20. the subway is a silver bullet that carries its passengers to their doom. From businessmen and bureaucrats, to prostitutes and peddlers, the subway takes every one to its doom. The opened doors are exit wounds to the professional life of your choice.

  24. The subway wasn’t as spectacular as I was lead to believe. Just a dingy, dirty tunnel with Hoover blankets everywhere. I saw a Subway soda cup between the corner of the ground and a wall. I really didn’t expect for anything to be down here… how wrong I was.

  25. I walked into the dank, dark subway. The scent of mold and steel pungent as ever. I seemed alone in this long, black tunnel. Awaiting the train to take me to somewhere I felt I needed to go. I waited. But the train never came.

  31. the subway was part of the structure of the underdwellings that had been existence since the 1920’s and was now over a thousand years old. Chris hoisted up the lantern and took a look at all the artwork that had been recent discovered.

  32. Subways terrify me ever since the time when I was ten years old and my grandfather nearly got crushed by the closing doors on a train. It was my fault, which is why it was so terrifying. This was in New York. The subways in Washington D.C. are exponentially better than those of the big apple and provided a much more pleasant experience if I may say so myself! I don’t know how I will do on the nyc subways next time.

    Gwen

  35. One day i got on a subway and i decided to sit down in front of the doors. I was so ignorant that i forgot they opened and you can fall out of the subway. Five minutes later I found myself icing my butt in the corner store in front of where the subway stopped, late for work and regretful of what I did.

    Criss

  39. The Subway is a underground train that is very fast and useful to get to places when there is a major traffic jam in the streets. Its usually dirty and full of hobos but people still use it. The ones in Washington D.C. are the cleanest I’ve been on.

  40. I rode on the subway in Rome Italy where I was once felt up by an old man. Oh, the A line was beautiful and shiny and had air conditioning, but the B line was graffiti’d and hot and full of people. I loved waiting in the station and when the train was approaching the platform, the wind would blow up my skirt.
