  4. I’m not a fan of tables. They’re sleds an delays experience for me. I dunno where to place my feet what to do with my Arms- because it’s rude to place your elbows on top. I just hate it. Some tables actuallyalw it so that you feel further away from the people or person you are conversing with despite their distant away from you being by mere inches. I lime to enjoy food on tables but other than thy there really isn’t much to say about them.

  9. our table is covered in empty cans of beers, and i miss the day when you took my hands and stood on that table and asked to dance, and we danced in the middle of the night with a bottle of wine nestled in the crook of our arms

but there isnt wine on the table anymore because you are gone and wine is for couples and beer is for lonely alcoholics who drink to forget

    have you forgotten
i haven’t, and the evenings get longer and longer when the table fills up with more and more and more empty cans

i’ll be okay, i promise you, ill be okay (i whisper to no one as another drink goes down and the lights go dark and my heart stops beating)

  13. tables hold us up, the keep our elbows from ripping through the raw air. we rest out faces upon our hands as they’re connected like barbells to the joint that presses upon the flat top. that flat top strategically placed over those four limbs, of which force pressure on the ground our feet swing above and beyond that, we’re not sure.

I’m falling and then I’m safe, I’m jumping across the wooden stands to try and catch up with you. Is this a game? Do you know what your eyes do to me? Even when we’re jumping and they connect, the legs of wood might as well be on fire. Yes, that’s how the tables have turned.
