  2. It tasted like raspberry. It was cold, with wet ice cubes that slurped around the area like a mega-phone shooting out sonic waves. It was like love, that spread too thin, like a wave that crashed and receded too easily.

  4. The Boston tea party was a great event for America. We stuck it to the man. Refusing to pay taxes on goods when we shouldn’t. Losing the tea sucked but dumping it into the water was a great statement. I wish we as a society would be mmore resistant to unfair taxes and pratcces by the U.S. govenrment.

  5. The cups were white with pink flowers. They were seldom used because their owner seldom received visitors. The people in her life came before, and she was not sad about them being gone now. They made her happy while they were here. She had the cups now to remind her.

  9. The tea was cold today at the intimate cafe. The muffled conversations brought a hush over the place. There was peace and calm around me. The warmth made up for that cold tea.

  15. The sweet somber mood filled the air. Leaves ruslting in the chilly afternoon breeze. I glanced over to see the lake sparking under the sunset. Steam rose from the cup that was shortly lifted to my lips, filling my body with a brillant warm and fuzzy feeling.

  16. tea is gross . i hate those people that drink tea all the time. it’s like they think they’re superior or something. it doesn’t even taste good. I had some chai once and I guess it was okay, but it turns out someone coked it up with vanilla. I also had a friend in 8th grade whose mom made a killer sweet tea, but there was more sugar in it than a box of cap’n crunch.

  20. I like tea, it’s a nice way of communicating..over tea. Everyone enjoys it, and there are plenty of kinds to choose from. It’s more acceptable than coffe, and even children enjoy it.

  21. I love tea! Iced tea, green tea, tea with honey and lemon when I am sick, or a nice big starbucks iced tea on a hot day. I think I like tea better than coffee. It has more variety, more flavor, more… richness, I guess. I can’t really describe it. Tea is delicious and I have yet to meet a tea I don’t like.

  23. I’m a tea addict. There’s no way around it. But at least I have a good reason. My father is a coffee addict, and so in order to stop me becoming one as well my parents forbade me to drink coffee in fear that I would develop a seven cup a day addiction. Because I still needed a hot beverage however, I began to drink tea and I found that, although less of a kick than coffee, tea is equally satisfying. So I started drinking it instead.

    I’m up to 5 cups a day…

  32. Possible anti-obesity effects of white tea have been demonstrated in a series of experiments on human fat cells (adipocytes). An extract of the tea “induced a decrease in the expression of genes associated with the growth of new fat cells, while also prompting existing adipocytes to break down the fat they contain.”

  34. The English drink a lot of tea, but so do the Irish. If you refuse a cup of tea in Ireland, they will simply ignore you and give you the cup of tea anyway. Tea is best with brown sugar and milk, although Americans tend to drink it plain or with ice, much to the distress of Europeans. It is unusual that the Brits would have such an affection for tea as it is not grown anywhere near the islands.

  36. “Chai,” they call it in India. It’s served in delicate porcelain cups that I can barely hold due to the size of my fingers. They put milk in it, which causes many foreigners to raise their eyebrows at the suspicious brown brew. When you sip it, though, your taste buds languish in the exotic spices, causing your mind to escape to a faraway land.

  37. “Tea time!” Her mum called out. She sighed. It was always a trial to go to tea with her mum and her mum’s friends. They were always trying to match her with their very eligible sons. When would they learn that just because they were all countesses and duchesses, didn’t mean that she had a desire to be like them.

  38. The tea smelled. It smelled like pine needles and honey, but that didn’t stop Tamara from rolling over, eying her new aqua quilt with the stars and moon, and calling it quits for the morning. Getting out of bed while on chemotherapy was never any fun.
