  6. Teachers are amazing, as a concept. It’s too bad most of them are utter shit and fail completely to inspire within their students a feeling of amazement and curiosity. Sure, some kids are harder to get to than others, but some teachers just fail to be memorable in any way.

  7. is a person who makes you sit through boring and mundane lessons about nothing in particular, that isn’t actually trhat relevant to everyday life. finding the degree of a straight line isnt going to help me in my career as a nurse!!! many different lessons had the same structure, and some had the same information! when you here the same thing about 7 times a day, you get a bit bored! then you get told off and sent to the headteacher because your ‘disrupting’ a lesson that you’ve seemingly been repeating since 9 oclock that morning!!!!!

  8. she sat behind the desk still as death, and just as menacing. She had a run in her hoses and a too tight sweater. Lipstick smeared her teeth and the ruler never left her left hand. She knew how to use it. Knew how to lash out without mercy at the slightest imagined slight. She was paranoid and angry.

  9. The teacher arrives late, dripping wet in a black trench coat, a passel of colorful folders tucked under her right arm and hooked on her left shoulder is a broken umbrella which, in her fastidiousness, she had forgotten to shake out completely and so, once she opens the door and the students meekly pass by, she finally gives the umbrella an exasperated shake as if she or it were a wet Labrador Retriever and suddenly the multicolored folders slip out from under her carriage and explode everywhere like some inconsequential rainbow, some of them even managing to slide back into the hall.

  23. My love is here and he coos at me standing by the desk arrogantly. I slowly approach him and he roughly puts me on the desk, bent over. I feel him press against me and hear him whisper “You’ve been a bad, bad student.” I repress a giggle. The fantasy.. it’s ours, and the things he will teach me for a few hours is worth typing about. ;)

  25. my Pal. Teachers are brilliant and smart and beautiful and sometimes Sexy. We are all blessed by them, brought to life by them, created by them. They are all around and not just in the school room. They are our friends, strangers, brothers, mothers, fathers, cousins, and the guy behind the counter taking your money.

  29. I am a teacher, or at least, I was going to be. I enjoy teaching, but right now, in this stupid economy, they’re closing schools and let’s face it, they’re not going to hire someone with no actual experience. It’s kind of crazy. So here I work at a call center for Medicare rather than in the school system, and I’m actually happy about it. I like my job, most of the time.

  33. I’ve always gotten along with teachers. I guess they saw potential in me or maybe it was because I always did what they told me to. Even if teachers liked me, however, there have only been a few that i’ve really liked. The ones that I can talk to about really anything apart from the subject are my favorites. But maybe I should’ve been different, and deviated from what I was supposed to do…

  40. “Teacher, teacher! Billy spilled his orange juice on me on purpose!”

I could never stand being a teacher, at least not for any grade level below 10th or so. A college professor’s job seems easier – you are free to be aloof in your aura of academicness and aren’t required to make people succeed when they really don’t want to. Just let them fail as they deserve.
