  5. Texture is soft and fluffy or hard and smooth. Texture is the way something feels on your hand when you touch it. It could also be the way food feels in your mouth. Ew. THAT’S gross. Anyway, texture I guess could also be the act of texting. If you want to be a hippie about it. I’m hungry. My favorite textures for clothes are nice thick fabric like my pantsuit from The Limited.

Silk, yes. Peaches–make me want to vomit. Seriously. But textures make art so much more appealing. And fabric.

  20. Velvet and leather were the combination she wore on the first date. Red on black, the softness next to smooth. Neither understanding exactly what this meant nor knowing much meaning behind it I went on stupidly unknowing. It was a missed chance in the end but one I was willing to take. And would again.

  21. The texture of the cloth was smooth, as it slid between his fingertips. He wasn’t used to cloth like this at all–normally he’d have nothing but a shirt and a pair of trousers that might as well have been made of burlap. This new life was something that would require a lot of adjustments. Even the texture of his food was different. The coarse grains of his homeland had been replaced by smoothly ground loafs that didn’t hurt his throat.
