A tiled floor seems so unified that it can be scary. However, when you look at the floor closely, little bits begin to show themselves in funny ways to you. Like the time your brother accidently fell and splattered ink all over. There’s still a mark there. The time you dropped a knife and it left a small hole- right in the corner over there. Fact is, as soon as you put a floor down, it’s not the same floor you started with.
